    Super V8 Monza 1991
    tracktemp 40 degree.
Does the Hud / tire temps work right?
My right tirer stays light blue in Qualy and in race after about 4 -5 laps.
All other tires are dark green:confused:

    edit:setup was reseted to default

@rmagid1010 That's why you need to run 1991 version of it. Its more MP-friendly

Same observation on the brakes can be said about the GT3 cars imo. At Interlagos, for example, you have to brake 50 or so meters earlier than you would in other games/real life.

I think I was the green McLaren taking the corner safely until I got pushed out. Driving quality was really bad there lol.

Maybe after the DD arrives i will send it in, as its driving perfectly i don't want to be without a wheel and don't really care i cant have the latest driver, it changes very little on the CSWv2 base.

Thumbs up for the Livery updates, particulary the orange/black) BMW 2002 "Jär Svet". It's close enough to the legendary "Jägermeister" liveries. I wish something like that for the Group A, BMW M3 too in the future.

Hey Steel, are you able to provide us with a list of cars you have done the default setups on? Thanks.

Exact same thing happened for me...and then I realized 442 is beta. I'll wait for the official release. Very common to have various issues like this for the older wheelbases when Fanatec does their beta updates (and even once in a while with the official releases).

I've been looking through their forum and noticing quite a few bricked DD2 bases from updating the many components in the wrong order or even trying to downgrade the update, crazy to think they have a updating process that is complex enough with 4 or so different firmwares to be updated being able to kill a $2000 device!
Makes me worried yo do an update! Not so much on my base as its old and I want to replace it, but for when I get the new base.

Touchwood but I haven't had any update issues on my DD1 that I have had for 3 years now.

They claim it is official. They bizarrely release all firmwares in the beta sub-forum and arbitrary designate some as official by simply omitting the testing stage. Bunch of clueless amateurs.
BTW - I upgraded without issue. FFB feels a bit better but still issues present. They claim a full rewrite has taken place that took them a frankly unbelievable two years to complete.

I love the cup car it's my favourite right now!
Which games do you compare it to? I remember in AC the braking distance was als a lot longer than other cars. This seems to be similar.

I watched some iracing videos and braking points seem the same. You do have to heat up the brakes before they become more effective, more than the other cars.

The braking distances are not even in the same ballpark as the same car in AC or R3E.

Strange I brake on the exact brake distances I brake on as I always have on nurburgring. Laptime is also about the same, around 2:01-2:02 (Veedol)

My brakepoints seem the same as this video even a bit later.

I can only confirm that the braking in the Porsche Cup is very bad. Everything else is perfect on the porsche

As far as I can tell braking is the same as real life footage even slightly better. Compared to what is the braking bad? Compared to other cars? Other games?

I don't want to defend the car for no reason, but unless someone can show a difference against real world footage I'm not convinced it is unrealistic. It does take much more time to heat up tires and brakes compared to other cars, can that be the issue?

Apparently, if a car does not handle like a GT3, it has a problem...
