Automobilista 2 V1.3.7.1 Officially Released!

It was featured on RD yesterday. RD is a website commonly used by Racing Sim people. It is even featured on THIS forums.

 

I was just assuming if it was a DLC that they want people to buy, it would be featured on their store page. Every other game I know of lists/advertises DLC prior to release on the store page (in addition to all the other various outlets).

Yeah it's not like a sim dev would release a teaser for new content and then just never release the content nor even mention it again...

@azaris sounds hard but he s right. I sharpen it: Lots of content previews month ago but nothing happens. That s where ACC is much better.

Reiza learnt there lesson though which is why they now keep there cards close to the chest. It's not like they don't want to release it either there has to of been unforeseen circumstances.

 

Yup, been a member for years, get most of my news from them plus individual games forums like this. RD reposted a video from the ACC twitter page I believe.

Me wondering exactly what on earth happened to the MP4/4 and MP4/6 that were teased in the announcement trailer 3 years ago (I know they're probably being saved for the Brazilian pack but )

 

How is ACC better? They teased the new DLC what seems like 6 months ago now.

 

And by the way their choice of american tracks is quite suboptimal for my taste. Really no one cares of Indy Road alone (without the full Oval) and COTA isn't the most popular track in iracing too.
I would have picked Road America, Sebring and Road Atlanta any day of the week and twice on Sunday...

Hi @CrimsonEminence has this been looked into? I am referring about the changes to the F Retro, as mentioned also by @Roy Niessink I am quite much slower since the update to 1.3.7.1

Car does feel very different to me, specifically the Lotus 72E, using SPA time trial as benchmark I topped the time trial with 2:13:0 before the update now I can barely get to highs 2:14s

Car feels much less alive and more rigid in corners in and out, not sure if it has to do with the axles and elasticity changes as per the patch notes.

EDIT: Just to add reverting to the previous patch I almost instantly got a sub 2:14 time at SPA

@Roy Niessink did you try again the Retros recently? Wondering if it's just me

The F Retro G1 is terrible to drive - all over the place with lots of understeer. So much slower than the AI.
F Retro G3 is an absolute missile and so much more planted. The turbo on 90% boost is 5 seconds a lap quicker on 100 AI around Imola. The normally aspirated is quicker than 100 AI just - if I drive well. These are my favourite cars to drive at the moment - great around Road America.
I haven’t tried the Gen 2 lately.

 

The one time recently that i raced in mp f-retro gen3, i was only one racing the turbo. Needless to say I could actually win because of it, the care you have to give on corner exit is compensated by greater speed on the straight.

 

no, i havent, we all reverted back to the non release candidate version in our league at that time, but havent tried them after the latest update

 

How do you know it isnt being worked on?

And god help me, no more privilege is on the table? Why are people so entitled?
