Small update on AMS2 V1.4 & Racin´ USA Pt3 release: after a long gruelling month of hard work, we´ve achieved substantial progress in many areas of AMS2, merging features and content that have been in gestation for months & including all the new content we had scheduled to come along with this release - we´ve actually gone further than originally expected in many key areas of the game, making v1.4 an even bigger step forward than we had originally planned.

Some of these new features still need further troubleshooting & general polish to be release-ready however, and the plan was already to expand on them during the upcoming August cycle,so taking it all into account we´ve decided to keep working on it for a few more weeks, effectively merging July and August into a single cycle for an update later next month, with no public releases in between.

I know some of you will have been anxious for the update to be deployed at this point as projected in this June Dev Update - normally we would have been happy to deploy what we have now and continue working on the new stuff as well as polishing the remaining rough edges for later next month as we´ve been doing every month up to this point. This update however will be a bigger step than we´ve managed in any other period in AMS2 development, and we feel not going the distance before official release or even letting it out as a public Beta at this point would be a disservice to AMS2 and our users on the long run.

We won´t hold you in suspense until then however - I´m aleady working on a Dev Update for this week to share some insights into what we have managed so far, and give some prospects of what you may expect within these extra few weeks.

We hope you can count on your patience a bit more - everyone in the team is anxious to share what we´ve putting together, and we hope you´ll agree when you get your hands on it that experiencing it in full was worth waiting a few more weeks for :)

    Well I wasn’t wrong.

Good things come to those that wait.
I can wait a few extra weeks for what I’m sure will be a significant update. Looking forward to reading what’s in store for us

    Fish and Chips.
    Whiskey and Cola.
    Beyonce and Jay-Z.
    Reiza and late deliveries.

Hard to think of two things that fit better together.

Good decision to postpone release for a couple of weeks.
Was a bit worried for a premature release after seeing the beta changelogs...

No. Recognizing early in the process that your agenda is ambitious and then announcing a timeline that you'll be able to hit means fewer bugs.

Everyone would be happy if Reiza told us in the first place that this release was scheduled for September (and we would think them heroes if they released it ahead of schedule in August). The problem is building anticipation and then delaying late in the process.
