    Hello @Kuku Maddog

Nice to see you here as well. :) Although I really haven't been away from here, to be honest, even I haven't posted anything here for a while.

I've been monitoring this thread all this time I've been away from the sim, just to keep myself up to date on things. ;) Although it's nice to know that someone here actually missed me. :p

    Hey Everyone.
before the AMS2 Upadet 1.4 , I was so happy with rFuktor 5.0.1 V42 on Fanatec CSL DD. Everything was so crisp and clear. You guys do such a great Job.

But after the 1.4 Update it feels cheap to me like driving with a rubber band. Same with standart and standart+.
    Has anyone the same exprience?

    Thanks

I have a CSL DD 8nm, and I am using Danielkart's recent custom file.

After the 1.4 update FFB felt very poor. Deleting / renaming Documents/Automobilista 2 folder sorted my problems. This was about the 3rd or 4th time I had to do this since early access.

Tip: If you rename the folder, you can then copy it back over if it does not solve your problems, or you can copy specific files like graphicsconfig.xml etc. if it does work. Be aware that you will need to reconfigure many settings, so it might be worth taking photos of your settings screens.

    Hi everyone,
i am also reader of this thread for quite some time and i also tried many of the custom files. Before the update i was quite happy with the V39 from Danielkart and it felt really nice on my T300RS.
After the update i was not happy with it anymore so i tried to find good FFB settings for Default+. The FFB also got some tweaks with the update, right.

At the moment i am quite happy with these ingame settings:
    Gain: 75 %
    LFB: 40 %
    FX: 50 %
    Damper: 0 %
In the TM Panel is use 100 % for all sliders except for Auto-Center and of course no Boost.
I also use the permanent fan mode.

GTE, GT3, GT4, GT1, Formula Ultimates, F-USA, Trucks, Copa Classic B (this is really fun) felt really nice with these settings. My favorite car is definitely the Porsche GTE.

I never got the chance to try a DD wheel or any comparison from friends or so, so i just have to make it feel nice for me and have fun with it. I can also not tell if it feels realistic because i have never tried a single car from AMS2 irl.

Maybe some other T300 users could try my settings and tell me what they think about it.

I miss the front-load-feel in the newest custom-ffb from m. böschen.
Anyone any idea how to get it back?

How switch from custom ffb back to default ffb and back to custom?

Only in the menu ffb settings?
Or is there need to manual delete a file?
Or need to restart the sim?

You can use Madness Tool to switch, Madness Tool - Custom FFB and Profile Manager. If you don't want to you'll have to rename the custom file to "ffb_custom_settings.txt", with madness tool you don't need to rename the file.

but you have to restart the game.

Thanks for sharing this Torstein, this is really really good almost better then porn ;)
No without joking this is the best FFB i ever had and finally have the feeling i’m getting everything out of my Fanatec DD. Would recommend every Fanatec DD owner to give this a try.
All credits to Torstein for sharing and Maurice Böschen for creating!

If you just want to compare default or default + while in game, you can just select them in the controller Force Feedback menu .

the custom file does not impact them . It used to be said to start a new session afterwards, but I’m not sure if you really need to these days .

you only need to restart game if you modify or change custom ffb text file.

I've also returned for the 1.4 update after long hiatus, wow it's getting good! Having a blast
with Kuku's fFuktor.5.0.17z file and finding that it works better for me than the Atmos 4.1 on ovals. The ovals are surprisingly awesome. I was having trouble with situational
awareness since I'm not a fan of the proximity arrows. Looking for solutions like radar in AC
and ended up trying CrewChief for spotter and it's incredibly immersive. Highly recommended!
Here's a link to some helpful setup information if anyone wants to try it.

You have to take GM's opinion with a grain of salt. Everyone is kissing his ass as he is liking ams atm. Give it a week and im sure he will find something else to whinge about.

I have been using this file long before GM starting using it and it is by far my favorite custom FFB that I have tried.

TM cp gain must be pared with in-game gain (and other games you use).
Personally, I found more confortable to use less than the max wheel base power, I'm now at 75% (as per Reiza recommendations). I get more feeling instead of doing gym exercices controlling the car :). My road car does 1/3 of TS-PC and I put my life there!

On the other hand, you can use 100% and lower in-game gain. The important thing is controlling in-game clipping - should occur mostly, for instance, when you hits a kerb on a nalready high suspension load situation (like a high speed turn).

Usually, enabling full power on Control Panel and/or Wheelbase's software, then controlling max force in game is what works best.

Reason why is that the signal in game dances around the limit you set, so details can be felt much better (unless you are at the very top of what the wheelbase can output!). If you cap the torque at lower values from Control Panel, it acts as a hard limit, and in game signals will never go past that value.

Same here, there's another file that I do like as well but I've settled with @Danielkart's file, definitely my favourite.
Watched a bit of the GM video and I must say, I don't understand. He says a few times that it feels wrong, but why is he recommending it then? Later he says the FFB gives him detailed information about what the car's doing in different situations, which is pretty much all you want and basically the whole point in having FFB :D It can't be wrong then and still for some reason he says it a few times.

Hi, I just re-installed AMS 2 since I have built a new rig and wanted to give it a try, after the 1.4 patch. I now have a Simucube 2 Pro. I've tried to browse where but there are "only" 280+ pages, hehe.. does anyone have any custom file and/or recommended settings for the SC2 Pro? I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks!
