Still hoping for a Formula 5000 version of the Formula Vintage cars. Would make a good 60's indycar too

Pardon if asked before but is there a list of cars that have NOT enjoyed the physics updates?

I think all the cars have the physics updates, but there is a handful running into glitches.

Early 70s versions of Spa and Nürburgring are on the table for coming at some point

Hello, I have a problem with the BMW and Mercedes GT4. These cars feature traction control in their configurations. And I find them harder to drive than other GT4s (especially the BMW). They are very responsive and have much more sensitive steering than the others. What can I do ? I specify that I activate the TC in the aids. Thanks

Well I finally bit the bullet and did a full reinstall of AMS2 today.
I'm happy to report that not only is my internet now 25% faster, but the clocks on my microwave and fan forced oven are now in sync.

Try reducing steering lock and caster, and see if that helps.

The karts have improved, indeed! They are the best-feeling karts in any sim I've tried, and have now surpassed both rF2 and KartKraft aside from specific tracks available in those sims. My favorite is the GX390 Race - feels pretty much like those kind of karts in real life, especially the brake-too-hard-and-spin-180-degrees part
Now we only need Reiza to iron out the last quirks with the kart AI so that they don't topple over from cutting the track or steering too sharply…

And did I mention that kart lobbies in Multiplayer produces some of the most fun that AMS2 can offer? Karting is a seriously underrated aspect of AMS2.

Do you happen to know if the overheating issue on the Superkart is fixed as well, watching a replay used to be like watching a smokescreen

Indeed. I swear the leaky tap in the bathroom has also slowed, but that could be placebo.

The first is a part of the movie "Grand Prix" with James Garner from 1966. A great movie! With very interesting sequences of all the great tracks, like Zandvoort, Monaco, Spa, Monza, Nurburgring, Watkins Glen and others.

Either an adrenaline junkie, or a man with a suicidal tendencies... (1:40 on the video posted by @Bizarre Formula)

Wild and shows how much safety measures have been introduced for the spectators too...

It's quite a thing to drive those old cars there in a sim. Seeing as RF2 has the historic track I decided (back then) to try to recreate the 1966 Belgium Grand Prix, it was pretty amazing. Can't wait to try that again when AMS2 gets the track, especially with it's graphics and damage model, it's gunna be epic!

Back when they would just let the broken cars pile up to the side of the track and carry on with the racing.

Safety is primordial and unquestionable, but there is no doubt it has made racing less thrilling.

F1 really needs to go back to the small, nimble but mean cars. Enough of these limousine-long cars of the past 10 years.
