Just a hint about the AMS2 steam store page:

Update steam store page for Racing USA Part 1 AND Automobilista 2 - Racin´ USA Full Expansion Pack:

Part 1 of the Racin´ USA Expansion Pack is now here, bringing some of the best Endurance race cars and most iconic tracks to Automobilista 2!

    Part 1 includes:

    TRACKS
    • Daytona International Speedway (featuring two road courses, with oval expected to be added later)
    • Weathertech Laguna Seca Raceway
    • Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach

    Also, about the AMS2 website:

The content has not been updated since December, I think. It think this content would be a strong selling point of the game, but unfortunately does not appear on the website:

9 circuits are missing: Watkins Glen, Cleveland, Road America, Galeão Airport Temporary Race Track, Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Termas Rio Hondo, Gateway, Fontana.

A lot of the cars are also not listed, incl the street Volkswagens, IndyCars, the F-Ultimate Gen2, Mclaren MP4-1C, F-Retro Gen3 Turbo, F-Retro Gen3 DFY Aspirated and all the recent cars.

Agreed, Steam store pages and official AMS2 website need updating.
While we wait for Reiza to update those pages people can find full up-to-date car & track lists in my Youtube channel: :)

Add to that that I lost my rating every time I deleted the my docs, AMS2 folder, whether that is denied to happen or not. In fact my progress was deleted 5 times by now, so I simply quit any MP with rating involved.

Also of note- for some reason the splash screen with all the logos hasn't been updated since about 1.2, surely we should have all the new tracks and manufacturers in there by now? (eg Reynard, Road America, Buenos Aires, etc)

With kart 125cc pit board shows damage, nothing in the hud though, right after I leave the pits without hitting anything.
Is this known or should I report a bug?

Tbh this makes perfectly sense. If we have an issue with the game and re-download it because we assume there's something wrong with game files it'd be much easier to do a files verification because that's what it's there for, to check whether the files are ok. Deleting your folders does also reset everything and you can dial everything in as you want.

A fresh install can help, although we have proof that in some instances it doesn't help, but it is not necessary, deleting your folders and doing a file verification does the same!

Yep me too, also as I stated in an earlier post the car felt much better with a custom ffb file compared to default or default+ . Still not perfect but certainly more drivable.

Is it true that a lot of cars have to much lower speed grip ?

The Super V8 is now actually my favorite car in the game but I use a custom FFB file that allows me to control it very easily.

It is a known issue, thanks. There is no actual damage ot the kart when you drive it, but it will get repaired in the pits. One of the most annoying bugs to fix so far as it has been around in one form or another for a long time.

And this is fascinating--that the Default(+) profile exacerbates some element in the car's physics modelling while the custom file masks it. Makes me wonder what else is being masked in the custom file...while we wait for a new set-up and/or some physics changes to the car. There are suggestions about set-up for the SuperV8 that seem to help it. @CrimsonEminence can you advise or point to posts you have already made on this?

Increase caster, increase front negative camber, reduce front negative toe.

    Okie dokie, thanks.

So turning off pit board is the way to go while waiting the fix. Pit repairs doesn't bother me that much as there's no pit stops in karting.
Fingers crossed you'll find the fix eventually.

I'm pretty sure I did try all of that, but it's quite obviously a workaround that does not fix the underlying issue and only slightly reduces its effect.

Hope you guys manage to find a fix for this. Back in 2020 the SuperV8 was one of my favourite cars in the sim, and even though we have come a long way since then, I'd love to see it back up there.

Not sure if it "masks" anything but it gets rid of the sever snap oversteer with the super V8. You still have to be gentle on the throttle but you aren't having to fight the wheel and the car on every corner exit.

Also some seem resistant to custom FFB profiles but to me that is one of the things that really separates AMS2 from other sims. The ability to dial in the ffb to not only your wheel but your driving style. Just take R3E and ACC for example. Some love their FFB but to me, they could be so much better with more FFB custumization options.
