Automobilista 2 V1.4.1.0 Released - Now Updated to V1.4.1.3

I know the August update was massive but I did not know we would not get one in September or at least some form of communication that we would not get one, it is just silence. Have Reiza moved to bi-monthy updates now? I don't think we got one in July either.

Yes, monthly updates were the norm. I don't have a prob with bi-monthly updates just some communication would be good to know what is going. Just has to be one post keeping us informed.

I kinda assume they must be planning an update this month, as supposedly the fix for the online time trials FPS drops has been found and is due to be included? Maybe I'm biased because it affects me, but I always saw it as quite a big bug as it makes the TTOTW pretty much unplayable. Assumed it would get a hotfix as soon as it was found, but guess because a monthly update is imminent it is being bundled in with that instead

 

Waiting for a development update... or at least some information...

There’s been great progress
I bought AMS2 this time last year & got a refund
This time it’s a keeper , some cars seem still at alpha/beta though & VR replay system is annoying
as well as time trial broken ( fps tanks )

hope their not running out of steam & making good dosh from the project , saying that ams2 with pass cost me just over £100 do I should expect so & good luck to them they are working on a great project

Happy to pay £100 for a good title I’ll use for maybe 5 to 10 years ( assuming it continues to get updated & improved ) , rf2 & iracing have been my go to sims since 2012 , I’ve mainly been using AMS2 recently , hoping multiplayer gets an overhaul then AMS2 could become the go to sim for most people , it’s still bubbling under

Jokes aside, AMS2's full £100 price tag is honestly a reasonable deal I feel, the base game could really be sold for 60 rather than 35 without anyone batting an eye given the content on there already, and since the DLC content will probably double or more the existing content load (it's been said that most DLCs will be multi-part like Racin' USA) I feel £100 is a pretty solid investment price, granted that all the DLC actually comes out that is given the current state of affairs with overdue track additions

 

Yes agreed , not really complaining as happy to pay/contribute + planing to not renew iracing annual subscription next month

Reiza have something that rf2 & iracing doesn’t have & that’s a man efficient next gen software engine they just needs to continue with the updates
