    This is, of course, in reference to the new feature they're adding where if you're far enough behind an opponent you can order an airstrike directly onto their car to gain the position

    Sunday is election day in Brazil and Wednesday is a Brazilian national holiday. I'm sure somebody will make a joke about the update being available only after the holiday. :)

    Yes and no. It is imminent in "Reiza time", where time isnt measured in seconds, hours or days. There is only one single measure. Its called "when its ready".

    So to make it easy for you, when Renato posted that, it means that there is just 1 "when its ready" to go.

    I believe they are implementing this measure also for hotlapping the Nordschleife and qualifying. The qualifying winner will get a time of 1.00 "when its ready" and when your time is above 1.07 "when its ready" then you are not allowed in the race.

    Ha, that would be my problem, not yours. In fact, your response was funnier than mine was!

    Suffice it so say, we're all anticipating the next iteration of AMS2. For my part, after all of the frequent updates leading up to V1.4 (i.e., V1.4 = "Reiza-finally-got the-physics to their liking"), it now feels like forever waiting for the next Release Candidate to be released.

    AI now has the same psychics as player.
    AI is now affected by a wet track (same grip as player)
    AI now stop zig-zaggin when their beside you.
    AI has tyre wear & warm up same as player car.
    AI don`t bunch together- (more spread out)
    AI don`t sit behind lapped traffic for half the lap !
    AI don`t drive on the grass when their 2 wide with each other.
    AI DPI running out of fuel at Interlagos if refuelling allowed during race is set to off.

    Improved AA
    Profile for TGT- II wheel base.
    Realistic / improved engine sounds.
    Improved performance when racing under heavy clouds, night, etc.
    fix for repairing car in pitstop even though damage is set to none in the MFD.
    Improvement of track shadows.

    For me this is the biggest offender, I just gave up on racing in the rain.
    I hope this gets better, I saw good improvements on the AI for 1.4, so I guess it's going in the right way.

    Dream update notes:

    -Controller players finally get the option to disable all filters & dampers that mess up steering and after 2+ years of waiting can finally have full control of the cars. As a bonus controller players also get the option to enable proper controller vibration like in AMS1.
    -When enabling mandatory pítstop players also have the option to enable mandatory tyre change and/or refueling for everyone including AI.
    -AI no longer leaves the pits the exact moment I'm starting my lap and blocks me.
    -AI no longer fights for position with me and other AI cars during their outlap in practice and qualifying.
    -When creating races offline/online players now have the option to enable realistic rules. When this option is enabled the game will automatically setup all race rules for the class chosen (race distance with option of 25%/50%/100%, single/double races per weekend, P2P/DRS rules, pitstop rules, realistic weather, full damage, realistic fuel/tyre wear).
