ok thanks, i'll ask in here

is there anyway to get a custom file identical to the "default" in game settings? i like default but the understeer effect is terrible and makes any non high down force car feel like they are weightless

i want a default profile which i can dial out the understeer effect

Hi! No, that is not possible, you cannot change the standard (+) file or mix it with a custom file

    Calling all Simagic users. Would it be possible for all you guys using Simagic Bases to tell me;
    1. What Custom File you use?
    2. What in game settings?
    3. What SimPro Manager Settings?
Maybe even a screenshot or two of the SimPro settings?
I know FFB is a personal feeling type of thing, but if I can get some direction and ideas, would be great. Thanks guys.

Well unsurprisingly I use my 5.0.1 based tune
Ive recently spent a lot of time in FWD Mini's of different ages, and have tweaked my file for the first time in ages. it can be found as Revision 2 in folder.
I still use alpha manger as SimPro seems to have too many bugs from what I read on discord and i dont have anything but a Simagic wheel base that needs software, so there's no point in using it for me currently
I run it with virtually no added filters or anything apart from a tiny amount of mechanical damper and friction.
all my settings are described in files . tastes and strength will vary per user though.
Ive had my Alpha Mini base for almost a year and never had any issues with connectivity/detection or anything not working as expected in game.

I just got into this game coming from iracing. I have a small issue with my Accuforce though. I can not dial out the centering spring or whatever it is that tries to bring the wheel back to center. I hate that, let me drive the car lol. How do I get rid of this?
    Thanks, appreciate it.

Hi guys! I have a lot of inquiries about my custom V45. I will post them to you in the next few days so I don't have to post the file to every single one. I will wait for the official update from Reiza. The file has received very good improvements and many changes (will describe it in more detail when posting). See you soon Daniel

Are you having this problem with a custom ffb profile or with the default and default +? I have this same issue with the default(s) and I'm not sure there is currently a way to fix it. High damping and low gain seem to have very little effect. There are a lot of variations for the custom files and the aggressive centering is often less than those of the defaults. I hope Reiza can address this issue because the default + is actually very good in many ways, but that rubber band centering is frustrating.

    Hi all.
I've just moved from a thrustmaster ts pc racer to a Moza r16.

Just hoping someone can point me in the direction of a suitable custom ffb file, and maybe in game and wheelbase settings.

    Many thanks

Looking forward to giving this a go at the weekend, thanks for sharing Alex .
I'm currently using one of your older files and am really happy with it , one thing I really like about it compared to the default files is the rotation speed of the wheel is far more controlled. What I mean by that is the self correction when letting go of the steering wheel isn't crazy fast like it is with the default and default+ profiles, do you know which line of code determines this ?
    Thanks.

In @Alegunner68 s file ( slightly older gen ) it’s the self alignment scale .
in rfuktor 5.0+ it’s the centering scale ( same function just named different) ive actually been trying some lower values myself recently.

i’ve made a few changes to my rig lately , triple screens and a custom made bucket seat build. ,
this has ment i have a different perspective on some things and my driving position is different so looking at some different tweak’s .

Lower centering strength may need to be offset with either gain increases or maybe master rack .
You might find fine details come through more with the reduced holding torque , which might also need adjustment if it’s more grainy than you like.
