    What was solving the wheel mapping?

    For pedals - are your pedals "jittering" a tiny bit when resting by any chance when you check their axis readings (in driver for example)?

    the trick was to press the pedals a little quickly a few times that solved it for me. you should know. thanks anyway mate, now I can finally drive as a big Gpl enthusiast on spa in VR

    So what was the wheel fix? Quick movement of the wheel?

    I lost Gateway, too.
    Update brought us some more low downforce car models, but took away the tracks...:whistle:

    season pass, premium expansion packs, or racin usa full pack

    The free trial of the Ovals ends for RC phase.

    EDIT: tracks are not appearing with the mentioned packs - we are looking into it!

    I have racin usa full pack and all other dlc, but the tracks have gone.

    Is there a technical reason why some tracks are limited to fewer than 30 cars?

    I recall Project Cars 2 had this restriction, with Knockhill in particular permitting only 12 cars per race and the reason given was not enough space for 30 pit stalls, even though real-life races of 30+ cars occur there.

    If it's a similar reason in AMS2, is there no work-around, such as having cars share pit-stalls, even if they have to stop on top of each other (they're ghosts in the pits anyway). It just seems a pity to have to reduce the field size for some tracks, particularly if it's merely a pit-stall issue. I'd rather see comprise on the pit-stalls than the number of cars on track.

    Entire custom championship featuring such tracks will also be forced to have fields limited to the capacity of the track with the fewest pit-stalls, or different numbers of cars per track, meaning some AI drivers will miss some races, which will destroy the integrity of the championship.

    As far as I am aware, only Raceroom & AMS2 have this dynamic slip streaming behaviour. With regards to iRacing and it's multiclass behaviour, the hesitation to overtake may have been from the AI using a default profile. Once you start increasing the aggressive and other racing stats for the AI profile, it really does shine.

    If by this you mean the slipstream affects the A.I. then most sims have that. What im focusing on is the A.I. in AMS2 now actively search for the slipstream, im sure no other sim has that. Did you see whta the A.I. was doing in the video?

    No, but the layout without the chicane is pretty much the same as in GPL (which was 1966, if I remember correctly)

    The F1 games AI also seek out the slipstream on straights, but do funky things too!

    Did you have any Fanatec driver change? For me with a DD1 anything attached to it that is not Fanatec made, forces me to go with custom setting since more than one year.
    For assigning steering axis, with my DD1 the way to have them recognized is to turn the steering wheel reasonably quickly up to the stopper and let go of the wheel. Any other technique leads to an error that has to do with "too many input something something".
    Seeing how it goes with custom wheel I have, I believe you should have pedals declared AND connected to the PC separately from the wheelbase. If you declare the overall setup as a Fanatec hardware (rather than custom) or connect hardware through the DD1 base the same third party hardware seems unable to send the signal the game is expecting and does not get registered.
    This was my experience, hope it is of help or anyway you find a simpler way for you.

    They obviously deleted the tracks for everyone who updated to latest release candidate, no matter which DLC players own.

    Yeah I would love to see the restrictions removed on these tracks with lower numbers. Really difficult planning a league and not being able to do certain tracks.
