The Corvette is a very nice addition to the class, it sits right between the absolute beast that is the C9 with its crazy 1000Nm of torque and Mach 1 top speed and the Porsche, which I fear is a bit lost now as the Corvette handles just as nicely with more power and torque (and no turbo lag).

Can someone please explain how these release candidates work? Are we getting a patch for the game soon since this release candidate "passed"? I'm personally interested in the bulletpoint that fixes the car spawning already running even though I have it set to off. When do these candidates make it to the official public and not just people interested in beta testing?

IRL the Porsche was WAY more reliable then the vette over its life. The Vette was sort of a glass cannon, because GM couldn't decide to go Turbo or NA, so both cars suffered until Hendricks motorsports took over in 1986 (I think)

The Porsche meanwhile was THE car to have for 6 hour races or more. You couldn't kill them without smacking the wall.

The release candidate is a public beta but with all the features the game has had up till now. Its to test new content on mass, and to notice small bugs that may have slipped in or through development.

Just as the Rio oval suddenly gaining a invisible wall that rips the wheels off your car.

Edit, car handling issues fixed by resetting set up in a solo test day.
    Race start DQ issue remains.

The CART vehicles seem to be glitched again on ovals.

All the Formula USA Cars are back to being from Fast and the Furious Tokyo drift. They snap around violently and suddenly mid corner and throw you into a suprisingly controllable drift. Still, this prevents you from taking the turns at the speeds the AI can at autoclub, and you must slow significantly to not suddenly become a Formula D racer.

Max rubbered in setting on live track.

Tested Formula USA Gen 1, 2, and 3 at Autoclub

Also getting DQ'ed almost every race start with the rules activated. While coming to the starting line, my maintain position requirement suddenly drops to last and instantly DQ's me from the race. Only work around is to turn off the rules.

    Validating game files now.

13 files not found, re-downloading and will test again.

Did not help, cannot touch the turns at anything over 180mph without the car becoming unbearably twitchy and unstable.

    Trying gateway...

Gateway is fine, the issue lies with the SuperSpeedway package with me.

Hmmm, just hopped in the F-USA G1 (first car on the list) and took it to Fontana oval. Experienced the drifty behaviour you describe. Suspecting aero issues, I tried the same car on the road course and all was normal.

On the oval, try going to the vehicle set-up and adjust the front and rear aero--just move the settings and then put them back to where they were (Front 5/Rear 7). After I did that, my car suddenly worked normally...as if it previously had too-low aero settings. I suspect this is another one of those set-up area bugs where old/out-of-range settings need to be cleared out by making an adjustment. I suspect resetting the set-up to default might achieve the same thing, but it's to late for me to try that. In this case, it affects only the low downforce version of the car.

I think reiza can add an “information button” in the upper right corner of the vehicle information when selecting a vehicle。
Click to display the full text, introducing the basic information and the use of some functions

I have a problem where the forcefeedback doesn't reset if you go back to pits while the car is crashing into a wall (any vehicle on any cirquit). The wheel wiggles like crazy until you close the sim.

Which we get the old F1 GP layout AND all possible layouts of the modern circuit.

now I just wonder what Reiza will do if they release Paul Ricard. I Hope they sort of add a layout creator for it.

A minor thing I noticed during qualifying in the Indy Cars (gen1) @ Fontana is the AI getting very neatly spaced times and lots of duplicate times. Probably a result of drafting but the cars in each little group are getting identical lap times.

Do you need the XML to be invalid (omitting the space and slash before the element closure) for this to work?

In XML, a self-closing element should look like this:
    Code:
    <element attribute="value" />
