For spa 1970 1000km, does the grass become invisible for anyone when track detail is set to low?

 

That's interesting it's being labeled Indy 2022, (Same as the Indycar car that got moved back) maybe we will get the older version of the road course (and maybe the pre reconfigured oval?)

I wonder if Indy was meant to be the 6th track pack, and thus development had already started, but after Indycar got involved again with AMS 2 they swapped some stuff around? Moved Indy to RUSA part 3, the 2022 indycar elsewhere, and later we will get the "historic versions" of Indy?

gears ratios on Corvette GTP first time in setup are not corrected, got same values (0.606) on 3rd, 4th and 5th. After a race restart they are ok. It's only a display error, in first race gears ratios are correctly working. Tested at Spa 70 and IMS in RC

 

Try loading into a solo test session and resetting your setup. That's worked for both the 911rsr and the Indycar SS Package for me.

 

We must have missed a "little switch" to turn it on

 

What probably happened is that indy was on reiza's bucket list so reiza had the pc2 trackside assets ready but on standby. When indycar contacted reiza and it looked unlikely to get indycar, reiza must have been like 'can we atleast license the speedway' and indy were like sure.

 

according to steamdb the RC nor the beta had any updates in the past 16 hours, so either its a glitch, or you accidentally posted a screenshot from the beta....

I doubt that. Knowing Penske who is MUCH more protective over IMS as a brand than Indycar itself, I would think it would be the other way around, especually with the MSG game "supposedly" on the way. If RP is letting a game that already has historic Indycars have Indy speedway, I would say the boat is sailing in the right direction.

(Same basic thing that happened to Iracing with the 24 hours of lemans) You can race LMP1, 2 and GTE at lemans for a 23hour 59 minute race, but you can't call it the 24 hours of lemans

Sure you can have the Indycars, especially these knock off, generic versions and the Historic ones, but you can by no means put them on Indy speedway for a race of 500 miles.

 

So ams2 will prohibit us from setting up 200 lap races at indy, and we will have to do either 199 or 201 laps

 

I have no issues with that with the grass on low settings,maybe driver related.AMD/Nvidia.Normal i use high.

 

I also guess that the irony that ams2 players will be forced to race champ cars at indy will not be lost on anyone

I mean, if the Generic 2022 Indycars come to the game, and a season gets added for them, The race will proably be 199 laps long yes. Because MSG proably is sitting on the rights to any digital recreation of the Indy 500.

Will they lock you out of doing it in single player or Muiltplayer? Doubt it, because Iracing let you host the 24 hours of Lemans yourself. They and by connection you cant advertise it as the 24 hours of lemans, if that makes sense. Because MSG holds the rights to run the digital version of that event.

Now, all that gray area manuvering goes away with Indycar's blessing. So if we get the actual 2022 Indycars properly licensed, then I can't see why they wouldn't also grant Reiza (Who now conveniently already has Indy in the game) to do the Indy 500.

TLDR, RP wouldn't let Reiza have Indy with AMS2 already having some form of Historic indycar, and a generic modern Indycar hanging over their head, unless they planned to work with them.

I think stuff got moved around, so that as soon as the MSG earnings call comes out and they say, "We're up a creek without a paddle" Indycar can instantly have Reiza Start work on a Offical Indycar pack. That's how I'm reading between the lines of all this.
