it worked ! now on entry gears are always ok, also after reset to defaults.

I just checked, deleted download cache, restarted Steam, no Indianapolis for me. v1.4.3.2.2202avx, I own season pass.

 

It's been a while since I've played in VR, so I recently tried the latest RC with F vintage in historic Monza 10k and found that the horizon is back again locked when going over the banks (as if the driver bent his/her neck to keep the head straight with respect to the horizon). I've tried Daytona and other ovals and the same thing happens. Even if I crash and the car flips over, the drivers view stays locked to the horizon. This kills the immersion in VR and I remember people complained about it shortly after the release of Monza 10k and then Reiza fixed it. Was this change intentional?

My bad. Didnt check my head movement settings in VR.
For those in VR who want to set the view fixed to the car, remember to go to:
Options > Camera > Movement > Use legacy head movement legacy >Yes<
Then decrease "Head movement" to a lower value taking into account that 0 is totally fixed to the car.

can you not change the head movement settings in vr?

turn the movement down?

 

IMS should be free for everyone unti the pack gets released, so that shouldn't make any difference

 

Think it depends on if you are a beta tester or a RC tester

I'm not a fan of locked to horizon either for the very reasons you state. Have you got legacy view switched on or off? I made a video on exactly this a while back, maybe it will help

 

Group C cars are getting low downforce version only on Monza and old Hokenheim, or are there other tracks ?
