I don't think that means 'leaked'. The author says he has no idea when it'll come out but wanted to be the first to release it. I don't know enough about SimHub, but couldn't I make a Ferrari 312P one if I wanted to, I don't need the car to exist for it?

    ---

Just out of interest, where does the number 3 come from please? I'm not doubting, just curious.

From last year's dev update. They said they were finalizing a Nissan deal and two other manufacturers

I've seen the cars that are being tested in the beta forum and I think people will really like them, but I'm curious about the jokes people will make about the "if not already on v1.3, very soon after" part. :)

New content is always fun, but to be honest, after the high-pressure end to last year, all I’m hoping for is that Reiza has a much more relaxed and happy end to the year. And if you aren’t hitting the embryonic AMS2 modding scene yet…well, what better time?

100% I think yall are making a mountain out of a molehill here. We all know the car is coming so no surprise someone would end up making a simhub dash for it

Are the cars in question planned for the next update or is it going to be a few down the road until we see everything?

Out of curiousity, how does a person/team go about acquiring a licensing deal. Email info@nissan.com and pray?

    maybe, as starter.
But don't expect they announced the new cars and after that they got in contact with nissan.
Normally the deal is mostly finished at that time.
But there can always haben strange setbacks, like
model is ok, then next step is liveries. Maybe they don't allow custom or just simple colored ones.
Then you'll have to create it and send detailed photos to the license holder and wait for response.
Unfortunatelly the livery is absolute fine, but ther could be some logo's or names, were other licensholders have to be asked to get additional clearence. Sometimes ther could be more than 5 licensers on just one car.
And don't forget for companies like Ferrari or Nissan, Reiza is a newcomer.
For long time clients it could be days, but for new clients months.
The next is price. How much can a small company like Reiza afford.
Its not so easy like to go to wallmart and pay at the cash desk ;)
There is also no online shop for sim racing licensees :)
Presume Reiza wants to pay max. 10.000$, but the licenser wants 200k.
There could be endless discussions and the months go by.

I think the last development update and subsequent posts by Reiza were pretty clear on what the target was in terms of completing the season pass content :D

What about the Vectra stock car? It should cover the gap nicely between the Omega Era and the modern era, and should be easier to license. Does ever Reiza mentioned this stock car era being developed?
