Fully agree, but this one is also really iconic and has a good chance to generate a bit of Buzz and get more players in to AMS2 which can only be a good thing too

How about Reiza did create the "secret" Porsche Indy car that was banned even before participating?
Only banned because it was too fast for the other US based indy teams at the time.
I was introduced to the controversial story from one of the US guys from Gunnar Racing who participated in building the car.

I'm always in two minds about the OW-heavy content with AMS2. Part of me desperately wants more GT 3's and 4's, more C1's and prototypes...all of that bread and butter stuff. Another part of me wants Reiza to go full send on Open Wheelers. Really nail down a racing epoch in detail (69 to 75 maybe).

 

You're that guy that spends all his time on the Steam forum saying AMS2 is garbage. That's you, right?

 

Graphics have taken a big downgrade on the next update huh

 

Yeah, all my time and I don't even have a job because of it.

 

Geez there are some sad sacks out there.
If I still had a Twitter account, I'd tell them to.... boy would I leave an unfavourable comment.

Selfishly I'd love more GT & touring cars as I don't really enjoy driving the open wheelers (except maybe the F3 & FUSA G2).

I often think that AMS2 is leaning more and more towards being an OW tribute sim with a few bonus tin tops included.

That's OK though, I still love the game, as it's my go-to for VR. Just wish we could fill out the GT classes a bit more.

 

By my count, there are currently:

• 56 - Formula Cars
• 100 - 'Tin Tops'
• 4 - Karts

Which I think is a pretty good balance.
Also, **** me - that's a lot of cars

 

Wait, what? How many sims is the MP4/4 in? I mean, other than mods, ofcourse.

 

Deleting my Twitter account June last year was such a good idea.

 

Didn't realise there's that many tintops. I guess it doesn't feel that way for me because a lot of the classes just weren't that engaging for me (trucks, street cars, old hatchbacks).

I seem to spend most of my time with GT3, GT4, Stock Car Pro Series, Mini JCW, Caterham, SV8, Carrera Cup, GT1.

Looking at that last sentence, maybe I should shut up...
(still love to fill out the GT3 class though)
