There are instructions on the website. They are quite easy to follow IMO

 

I think that video actually highlights more the improvements on the physics side of the game, the way that car is bouncing around looks pretty bad, dont know of its your camera settings, but I could not drive it like that.

 

So just to make sure i havent overlooked anything, there was a social media post that mentioned a dev update to arrive the day after, then a day after that there was an apology for the delay and mentioned that the dev update would follow shortly, then there was a dev update which to my estimation was a quarter to about half done and shortly visible, and now we still dont have a dev update?

I understand that it's Christmas, but 2 self imposed deadlines in 3 days makes an apology quite worthless imho.

 

I don't know about the other AI incidents in the video, but that car running wide on the short straight at Goiania then coming back onto the circuit, slipping on the grassy tyres and then recovering is something I see rarely in other sims. The AI definitely has flaws but some of the deliberate AI mistakes are excellent.

 

You are sort of correct. The first deadline was not met, but shortly can be anytime. My father likes to say later, but does it a week later so it can be whenever.

 

Yeah, might be a matter of interpretation, but shortly to me means at least within a day...

 

I thought so, but after thinking about past experience and what one guy said in the forum I knew shortly wont be what we think shortly is

We’ll Renato said the RC will be released next week so I hope we get the RC next week, but the dev update before the RC
It also seems Renato has been online a bit today. Wonder what he is doing

 

To check how hype up the community is as he purposely delay the dev update in order to generate sell? It was literally dead a few days ago lol.

 

That's definetely an interesting strategy if that's the case, not sure if I'd call it a smart one or especially what he's currently doing but who knows

 

let the man enjoy the christmas days. There will be reasons why the dev update is delayed.

 

This... Let Renato and the devs enjoy the holidays. We've been through this cycle enough with updates to know a December update means probably before mid January. None of us should be shocked by delays at this point, whether that's ok or an outrage is up to personal interpretation. Bickering in this thread is not gonna make the update come any sooner.

I agree and learnt that using a manual shifter isn’t as easy as I thought

 

Might be a bit annoying, but one guy said the dev updates usually get released after 18:00 Reiza time . Let’s see what happens

I slipped today and fell on my left side. Ribs and hip bruised. No chance to drive a car. @Renato Simioni take your time. There is still a lot to improve!

 

What content do they need to improve in the beta test? I only accept names of the content
