I like what you did there ;) That could probably be the end goal, where additionally to installing/uninstalling mods you can also manage liveries, car/track names, marques, logos, series, track country & category, drivers and AI configurations. And maybe a creation tool for the preview sideshots for cars and a trackmap tool fpr mod tracks to make them uniform.

Oh wouldn't that be a cool thing to have <3

This is what I was gonna make, but I'll wait until Renato and team decide what they are going to adjust regarding mods. Ultimately it's just a small program to do some file manipulation. Ideally it would pull the mods automatically from the PC mod team site if they gave permission (not sure what their hosting costs are).

From what I'm reading though it's to late to join the backing campaign, correct?

I think modders would be happy with documentation + an API.

Fancy and convenience UI would be a plus, but docs + API should be great enough.

With all of this talk of the backer campaign returning, guess I'll have to set aside some money for a rainy day

Yes, but they may bring it back. I will buy it if the price is 100$ (think that was the price before).

Wow that is a nice surprise today. I loved AMS and was bought in on what you and your team were capable of when you announced AMS2 and the backing campaign. It is a really nice gesture and one I am happy I am a part of.

Sign me up - happy to support the product as I have since beta. Just missed out on the backing option.

Yep, I joined the AMS party late, but loved it from the second I left the garage with the F3. Joining as an early backer in AMS2 was a no-brainer.

Fun fact: I had never heard of AMS until someone asked Lando Norris (yes!) in one of his Twitch streams (back when he wasn't the star he is today, barely had 200 viewers then) which sims he played. "Automobilista" was one of them, which caught my attention since that word was in portuguese. Only then I learnt about the game and Reiza.

Truly a nice investment, i was blown away by the dev support back in early AMS1 days when became a backer that i knew it would be worth my money at the very start of AMS2 development. Very happy with my purchase.

Hoping the new model is a good one! Especially if it has a V12...and especially if it's based on the MP4/5B's main rival that year (we'll see though I guess!)

I came across AMS in 2016 when I built my first PC and moved away from consoles. The description of the game seemed interesting with the focus on Brazilian motorsports so I got the base game and season pass for like $60. It became my favorite sim and one of my first races was in the Montana. There was a crash in the back of the field that caused a FCY. One of the most immersive experiences I've ever had and I've honestly been a fan of Reiza's work since.

I started this year and hope I can become a beta tester in 2023. I love this game and I want to help it become even better

Same year and move i made, from console to PC in 2016, thanks to Sony removing my old CSWv2 compatibility. I honestly wonder why it took till 2016 for me to build a PC.

Mine was for a couple reasons. One because I was just a few years out of college and never had the money to until then :p. The second is I got tired of consoles not having more hardcore simulators and I was over Forza and the restrictions consoles had.
