I used to play sports car gt (1999) back in the day, so anything related to GT1 in ams2 hits hard.
This update looks to be amazing... Lets go !

 

Sorry for my noob-question but what is this "backer"-thing? When lots of people write "sign me up" are they really being signed up somewhere already or is it just the info that they are willing to become backers?

Can everyone become a "backer" or is there only a limited number or do those backers have to meet certain requirements (for example commitment to regular beta testing and reporting...)?

And what's the difference between backer and Seaon Pass? Someone wrote that the old "backers" had to pay about 100 bucks. If that's true, it's almost the same I paid for all DLCs/Season Pass and it would be an incomprehensibly low price for lifetime content?!?

And how would it work via "forum" and "not via Steam", when I bought and start the game only via Steam?

Sorry for those maybe silly sounding questions but English is not my mother tongue and as you can maybe see I have never been a "backer" in any game yet, so no experience so far for that matter... ;-)

 

Your question isn’t silly, but here is the answer.
The backer thing was a way to give Reiza money. The backers get to become beta testers and get content for free. This happened a few years ago, but now they might bring it back. Why they do it in the forum is probably because they want their biggest supporters to have it and if a lot of people buy it then maybe they will lose money or might get people who don’t care about helping AMS2 or future projects.

I am also interested in becoming a Reiza supporter, it is a project in which I believe a lot and as a customer I would like to continue to support them and to spread the project to many important Sim Racers (the only problem and weak point of AMS2 to spread it is the weak MP).
Apart from that I have been a supporter of pCARS1-2 and more I am a supporter for Reiza looking at the commitment and love that the studio is dedicating for us all.
Some time ago I lost the opportunity to be a supporter due to lack of time, but if there is the possibility of opening now I would like to support, also by financing the project.

 

There is nothing going on, it's just people saying that they would be willing to join if it came to pass.

If they do include the GTR, I hope they bop it like they did with Corvette GTP, and not like SMS did in pCARS2, otherwise it will be way too op.

 

I'm interested in the sound for the GTR. GTR's have a distinctive engine note.

 

I hope that REIZA know that December AND 2022 will end in 2 1/2 days There is a strict deadline.
But whatever, I hope that the whole REIZA team has some nice holidays and a happy new year as well.

 

I don’t care if they miss the deadline. The longer time they spend on the content, the better it is.
