I stand corrected: well in any case since we have LD trims for the generic cars adding one for the MP4/4 wouldn't hurt too for balancing reasons

I don't know if it's already been mentioned but being able to choose race configurations for all classes is really nice when you like to ride with AI (which behaves better) for long races. Great addition, thanks Reiza!;)

Yes, because of these visual bugs I put the "impact on performance" option. It takes away a bit of immersion, but riding with 3 visible wheels takes away even more immersion. These bugs were already on Pcars2, should not be easy to solve...

I wonder why this bug doesn't get a quick hotfix. Maybe something not easy to fix or devs are not aware of the problem?

well, same as the issue with one of the stock cars before this update, that didn't get an hotfix either, not sure if this will get one, im sure they are aware of it, since i believe it was reported in the official bug reporting thread.

but these things need a hotfix thats for sure if you ask me.

Just thought of something. We have Nissan in the sim and Reiza could start the LMP1 category with the Nissan when “Secret high speed circuit” arrives.

we could also get the DPI

Certain bugs which we might think would be a simple fix could be very hard to fix

yeah, easy to break, hard to fix, i understand that, but waiting a month or longer for an update that fixes it is quite long if you ask me

I can’t say if it is long or short due to me not knowing how hard the bug has been to fix

Are you new to sim racing or something?

People have been waiting for years for certain fixes in a lot of sims... rF2, ACC, you name it and there's been bugs that last years... AC had to be fixed by the community because Kunos decided to move on rather than continue to develop it...

Fixing a bug is far from an easy within a month fix... Especially when you aren't the inventor of the engine you run and said engine isn't used by much if any of the competition...

well, in this particular case of something that worked before the update, i assume it can be fixed within a matter of days, but certainly within a month, otherwise rolling back that particular car as a temporary hotfix so your customers can at least use it would be a good option, whilst in beta they do some more extensive testing on the changes/issue.

i wasnt talking about longstanding bugs that are in a game or engine, i'm talking about bugs that surfaced after an update and were not there before.

    PS,

not sure what being new to simracing or not has to do with it, but FYI i have been simracing for about 18 years.

Might be harder to diagnose what causes the problem

hence a rollback would be good whilst working on a fix

Feel like there are a lot of factors to why they haven’t brought a hot fix. We don’t know to what extent the problem is and IMO we should inform Reiza, but not complain on it not being brought in when we think it should
