The irony of the Nissan's being delayed a year only to be borked...

Oh well, thats video games for you. I'm sure Rezia will have it fixed in a few days

One of the LOOKS too high up in one of its configurations. So basically it would have been better to never release them

The low downforce variant of the R89C (and R390?) caused CTD at first, then it got patched but the FFB was broken and without sounds, now its a special Paris-Dakar variant :D, also some minor visual stuff like both the R89 and R390 lowndowforce variants using the normal variant liveries and it looks all borked like that.

    Yep, all minor stuff.

On the plus side though, the cars are driving amazingly. Currently in a race at Suzuka in the pouring rain with the R89 and it handles it extremely well.

Shame about the Nissans but I'm glad the Brazilian cars are working...and oh are they working! Finally got some time to properly drive them with a wheel and I genuinely think these are the new benchmark of what AMS2 has to offer in terms of driving feel (The MP4/6 at Suz...Kansai GP had me so hooked I drained the entire fuel tank and wondered why I was suddenly at a standstill in the middle of the track :p)

I would say that the R89 could be a tad bit more unruly, but yeah, it's pretty great to drive.

We have had brief internal discussions about swapping the 3D models therefore the 98 longtail will become the LD version. This model produced less drag & more downforce due to rear updates. Due to time constraints this was not possible..

I didnt imagine I would like so much that DLC, specially the BT52 when I can keep it away from the guardrails, this DLC gave me new motivation to use the classic and retro gens.

Can somebody tell me why C8 minimum steering lock is 20? I usually use something around 15 and it could help here as well.

What time constraints could you have possibly run into? You had a year...

Uhhhhh, game development... Your so confusing...
So are they going to get swapped in the future then?

My guess would be they just got to work again on it recently, and then low downforce variants became a thing and they decided to make the 97 version for it and so on.

Yeah, I mean, that make sense. Hints why the LD version has so many issues.

Still a bit weird as the longtail was specifically to increase downforce while not increasing drag (so the 98 car had more downforce and less drag due to other developements on the car) but probably the better solution having both models done now.
