The Formula V12 and Monza 1991 is a lot of fun... 53 laps around there just isn't enough...

I use bass shakers but can't say I have noticed any differences between the settings.

Well, the tire certainly seems capable of lasting more than a full fuel stint in the proper conditions based on manbird's running.
This is all still subject to internal discussions and further testing/refinements as well, so I cannot comment on that aspect. Everything will be taken into consideration.

Yes, that could be the case. It must be extremely tough to code the AI, for different tracks, weather, classes etc. I know they’re on this, & like you said, maybe the differences aren’t always directly noticeable. So I guess, we’ll just keep supporting the devs, in posting the issues. But you know, the best AI experience I’m having at the moment, is with the GT3 class; awesome, close racing. But, generally, the whole offline experience with AMS2 is a blast.

My answer from two years ago:
Essentially, it's like increasing the volume of your subwoofer. It can be used for tactile effects, although I would recommend using SimHub for that instead.

Glad to see its been adressed in the latest hotfix!

However the Brabham Hypercar still has the same problem as its lock still goes up to 36o and when set to that it bangs and bounces like crazy! I've checked the Mclaren and the lock does not go up that far so it does'nt have this problem.

Of course im sure we'd all love to see the cars have the lock they have availible in real life but, is this problem a restriction of the maddness engine and something that just can't be fixed easily, or is it these cars specifically?

Also I don't know if it might be something to do with the tires as it reminds me of what the FFB did when there was a bug back in V1.3.3.1 when, if you selected hard tires, they would explode and cause the FFB to go crazy, for an example of that watch at 2:03 in this video

Yea, it seems like the AI is well tailored for tin tops, but a little bit of a disaster for open wheels.

Or maybe the nature of tin top racing simply fits well how the AI works in the Madness Engine, while it is quite often all over the place for open wheelers, especially for the very fast ones.

Just checked the player graphs on Steamdb and found out AMS2 has had a higher peak than RF2 during the last 30 days

    Just a question
If tyres abused by skidding around & wheel spinning then immediate cornering at speed they still feel quite grippy
In the current tyre model do very very hot tyres lose grip performance ?

My reference for this is iracing I’m aware it could be iracings tyre model is exaggerate in this respect ?

That's quite normal just after big updates. But this will "normlize" during the following weeks...
But all after all, AMS2 is coming a bit closer towards Rf2 and R3E. :)

really are just fighting for the scraps left over by AC and ACC in this area.. Devs really to to open the platform to easier modding, its kept AC stronger than ever.. buy a game and all its DLC for $11 on special, and download 1000's of cars and tracks for free after..

I feel like AC is mainly a SP game and ACC is just big due to it being Kunos, “easier” to make setups with al the metas and LFM. Wonder how many Iracing have?
Edit: quick view at iRacing Reports and get the player count last season to roughly one hundred thousand.

Beautiful race around Spa in the Group C Nissan with a mixed grid containing the M1 Procars in wet to semi dry conditions.
Whilst making my way through traffic towards the end I came across a smoking M1 Procar that eventually retired. I haven’t seen that before. Fantastic

A SP game with absolutely attrocious AI. All that impressive modding and yet the AI is still as bad as the day it was released.
