assign a key for NEXT/PREVIOUS camera. Then you can step through all trackside cams in VR

 

I have no idea what "the reactors" are, but I have a brief that I work to.

 

I think by default it is the + and - keys on the keypad.

 

Does it work with Track IR? Cause i use that with an Delanclip and Opentrack. AMS2 runs in Steam VR mode.

 

Map a next camera button and then you will be able to jump around the track. The VR trackside cameras are brilliant, I often use them once I'm done in quali.

 

I was thinking there was going to be an update coming at the end of this month, any news where we are with this. Just hoping....

A bit surprised that some of the more obvious things, like the Snetterton graphics glitch, haven't already been hotfixed since 1.4.5.2 was released. Hopefully the next update will polish away some of the rough edges and inconsistencies found throughout the sim. Perhaps not the most newsworthy content drop, but needed to elevate AMS2 to the place it deserves.

 

They didn’t want to release just to hotfixes and they took longer than expected. They had to delay it and I think it’s better so. They get more time to develop things. I believe certain people forget they are a small studio and can’t fix bugs as quickly as Kunos, S397 or any other sim in the market.

 

Unfortunately, the Snetterton and Imola fixes are connected to new track content in the programming, so could not be separated this time. You know that Reiza loves hotfixes, so they would have done so, if possible. Soon....those fixes plus new track layouts

 

Thanks for the heads up, love the game and always anxious for more. Just waiting patiently and so thankful for what we already have and knowing it will only get better.

 

New track layouts?

 

I was just about to mention there is a surprising amount of nothing going on on this forum at the moment. No teasers for nurb or Bathurst, no information about the extreme pack, no word on the 6th track pack. All we know for sure is a new website is in the works

 

Reiza may be small, but their work ethic and long-term commitment to support have long been the Gold Standard among simracing developers. I wasn’t complaining—it’s quite clear by this point that the Madness engine was aptly named by software developers. But if anyone can perform alchemy, it’s Reiza!

 

Or a new implementation of weather features on Live Track? Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't there mentions of a "snow texture on tires" glitch a while back?

Either way, I'm fine with more layouts. I kind of wish we got some infield-only version of Fontana or Stowe Circuit at Silverstone.

 

Yes, the announced historical versions/layouts of Nords and Bathurst.

 

I personally view the historical versions as whole new tracks, but I see what you mean...

I hope to see the legendary safety kangaroo in Bathurst someday. official or mod.

 

I'd want to see the classic Indianapolis Road Course layout. Driving the F1 V10 on the modern one doesn't feel right.
