Automobilista 2 V1.4.6.1 Officially Released - Now Updated to V1.4.6.4

I've been mulling over the question of historical track/series pairing after I started contributing to Racing Life; eventually, I would like there to be a comprehensive, historical schedule that pairs various classes and tracks. In any event, to answer that question comprehensively (across all vehicle classes in AMS2) is way outside the scope of this thread, but as a sampler, here's the AMS2 Silverstone tracks, based on layout changes over the years:

Obviously, there is no way (yet) to change track billboards, etc. in AMS2 to simulate different seasons at the same track, so we cannot make 1975 look different than 1986. Also, F-Classic Gen2 raced at another variant not included in AMS2, so it's dealer's choice on that one.

Anyway, back on topic ... one answer to your question you may wish to consider is Group A at Bathurst 1983.

 

Is it only Bathurst 83 that has the 3d trees at the moment? I saw a post I think by crimson in another thread about the weather issues getting some fixes in custom championship, is that in this RC build?

@robillard3381 Multiple pages display are just plain awesome, especially for people who prefer not to use the HUD.

 

but we still cant turn off the brake bias icons, they ruin the vr immersion

 

the other thing i realised is that for the '3D trees', the tree trunks are 3D but the foilage is still 2D sprites, so the trees still look like they rotate.

If 3D foilage on the trees can also be added, then this will be a massive improvement for tracks like imola

Most of the Brazilian Legend DLC cars (or Senna’s at least) are still relegated to the back of the grid. Has Reiza modeled a virtual Jean-Marie Belestre into AMS2? In fact, the entire F-Classic Gen2 grid seems to be wearing Senna’s helmet in protest!

 

I was able to verify all of this except the ABS lights for the BMW M6 GT3. For me there are no ABS indicator lights in the car dash?!

 

Try them and the old Corvette. If you can get the AI slider in the right spot, it is a fantastic fun time racing like the Minis and V8s back in the 70s.

BMW GT4 is much better now, thanks!! It closer resembles the interior of the real car now

Is it possible for pit lane speed icons to show up like in the bmw m6 gt3?

 

The disappearing drivers bug is now on F-Classic Gen 4, I just ended transferring the broken skins on gen 3 to 4 and it worked perfectly, but the drivers disappeared

It is not fixed for F_Classic Gen 4, M2 and 3.
