I think you are correct and probably I would prefer an RZS (Reiza Studios) to get rid of that A which is the only vocal survived the purge

 

You can feel it everyday when you get overtaken by a Sprinter Van doing 170km/h... it is quite disturbing even in normal roads cars.

An RC is not a valid game update. I'am done with RCs since the ArmA series where i wasted dozends of hours of my life in bugtracker and e-mail corresponce with developers. I'am not anymore doing the job of a paid beta tester for software products for free.

I know what you mean. We've all been there. Remember the 2000s when games would release on CD with a giant game-fixing day one/week one/ month one dial-up download? T'was ever thus. But that's not how Reiza treats us though, is it? I've never got that impression anyway.

 

It's just what you have to expect in the gaming world these days...

The end user is always a BETA tester... It just varies on what level of testing they are expected to do from game to game...

 

I'm not doing any of that. Just enjoying the new content and fixes now, before they do a full release.
I might report something in the bug thread if I see it, but there's no pressure on me.
To me it makes sense that an independent developer in a niche genre will operate this way.

 

Guys, I was very anxious and decided to uninstall Automobilista 2 and installed AMS2 Beta to run as soon as possible in bathurst classic, but to my surprise it still hasn't been updated here. XD Do I need to do something to update?

 

Maybe enable the "not for media branch"?

 

1. run steam client.
2. open library on top.
3. right click "Automobilista2"
4. open "properties"
5. open "betas" tab
6. open drop down menu and select "ReleaseCandidate"
7. close the dialog
8. right click steam icon and exit in windows tray
9. re run steam client
10. check download

I do recommend that you download the RC, it’s more like a preview and is less buggy then arma RCs. Its basically the update, until the next main one with vintage nords. There may be bugs, but i dont think there are more bugs then a normal update.

 

Apples and oranges. The AMS2 RC does not come with an expectation that you complete a bug tracker or email the developers. In fact, I'm certain that they would rather you didn't!
