This makes more sense to me... Any bad press is not good press...

And you are completely correct about the bottleneck situation... I hadn't even thought of that...

To clarify most of my disappointment was in the fact that Reiza is doing a better job than S397 at updating the DLC on that store...

Hey, I just realised Renato said this ... "We expect to conclude this much anticipated project before the end of March."

So sometime in next 7 days we will be freaking out as we rock n' roll along the Historic Old Green Hell !!!

I'm gettin' chills thinkin' 'bout it o_O:D

Reiza will know why they want to put their time and manpower into rF2. Even if it's just to fulfill their responsibility to the buyers of the DLCs. I think that deserves respect.

So are we thinking Reiza will make the end of March deadline for Nords & Suds '71?

Maybe drops over the weekend !?

Do you know how to count? Well, don't count on it.

I wouldn't bet on a date, but if I had to bet on smth, I would bet on 15 April for a track that still needs trackside objects added to it.

I don't think "we expect" is a deadline. If it comes, brilliant. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

Especially one that long and the extension that was announced for the Sudschleife is longer than your average racetrack as well... It'll be a nice surprise whenever it is released...

Yeah I am happy it's out when it's ready, not a problem, and it doesn't hurt to stay positive.

In the meantime, having a blast with the Brazilian Racing Legends F1 cars. The Brabham BT52 BMW I4 Turbo is absolutely insane, sounds incredible and super fun to drive around historic Kyalami.

The issue is when people like you start referring to a deadline - well we know what happens and it is not positive.

I'm most excited about the 6th track DLC:

Maybe we get that in April/May... Though, it can be unlikely due to difficulties with Nürburgring Historicand Adrenaline tracks.

Reiza has previously put out an average of 1 track per month (I consider historic tracks as different tracks). We got the historic Bathurst this year, so there should be at least around 2 average tracks worth of tracks done or nearly done. Then again, Südschleife is for sure smth more difficult to pull off so I'd call that on its own more difficult than an average track...

@Gagaryn - There is no issue and I don't know what you mean by saying, "people like you". I am a 60yo sim racing fan, this is my hobby - nothing more, nothing less.

So deadline was the wrong word, okay but no need to be rude or impolite. I was excited about this release and only said positive things, echoing what Renato said about expect it to be ready by the end of March.

Hi Blanes, nice to see you back in AMS2 forums. :)

The issue with delayed releases / updates has become something of a sore subject (easily inflamed - on either side), hence the backlash at mere mention of it.

Us "Oldies" tend to be more patient and understanding, and the pace of AMS2 development seems slower these days, at least when looking in from the outside. We know we are spoiled for choice having so many options to occupy our playtime. ;)

It'll be interesting to see when we get that 6th track and what it is...

The Gesamtstrecke will definitely take up a lot of time... It's twice the distance of Le Mans...

If that happens, I can't wait to see you issue a Formula One livery pack for the Nascar stock cars. ;)

I refuse to get too giddy for that until my game is downloading something. This has been pushed back several times and it's not unlikely it will happen, too.

We should get a poll going to see who guesses right. I'm thinking it'll come after the Adrenaline pack and be short track focused (i.e. dirt/paved). We probably can't get USAC licensing but maybe something similar from other regions so we can make our own "Triple Crown?"
