Probiere die mal aus... Automobilista 2 Custom Force Feedback - Overview & Recommendations

Hi all, here is my latest tweak for the already excellent V70. Suits my csw 2.5 lovely. I'm quite chuffed how good it feels tbh.
    Running gain 50-55, lfb 0, fx 50, damping 0.

Hey buddy! I am sure that the file goes perfectly with your 2.5. I can recommend people with a csw 2.5 to take a look at this custom. Have fun with it .
    Best regards to Alegunner68:)

This feels very nice on the Logi DD. Well done. I had to turn down the flatspots but other then that, spot on. Feels very nice on GT3

    Hi,

one with the high or low frequencies?

I don't feel any curbs with the high frequencies. In the settings, the FFB is set to Custom.

Could you please post me your base settings and the ingame settings?

I have the wheel only a few days and am still looking for good FFB settings.

Thank you and best regards, Thomas

Hi Thomas. High Frequency. It was strange, i was feeling some rumble strips, but not others. I'll probably go back into the file and tinker with the curb settings.

In game i have gain to 75-80. LFB 0-5, FX 20-30
For the base settings i have. Strength 11nm, FFB filter off because this is a pretty clean file. Dampening off. You may want to go into the file and turn off or down flatspots

Also AMS2 needs to have the logi DD pro in G923 mode. Not sure if you have found this page but it will help get you going with other games.

    Kurve beschleuinge..

The last file I uploaded didn't accomodate for high downforce cars. This one does, they have a lot more force which I think is right. Please correct me if you think this is wrong, did old f1 cars have power steering?

I don't think F1 cars had power steering until the early 1990's, some even later than that.

Power steering was first introduced into the world of Formula 1 in 1988 by Ligier. However, not all teams were convinced by adding power steering to their cars. The reason for this was mainly because power steering was still very much in its testing phase in the sport

Even I set the in gane damper to zero and every settings just like yours, the klonk noise and awful feel around the wheel center is still here. Any ideas? I am using Logi DD as well.

Hi Pakhooooo, Logitech DD as well here. I had the same problem as yours this morning. I Finally switched AMS2 to official release, purged Mods and reinstalled. In default + The 'klonk' is still here but only with damping > zéro (was always here before even with damping null). It diseappears now with damping at zéro. I switched to custom until the damping is fixed.

Really sorry but I have moved to a MOZA R9 since my post and could not be happier
Hope you guys DD GPRO owner can enjoy your wheel but this klonk issue and the really average quality of the bundled rim was too much of a let down for me:(

So it seems I am not alone. Did you switch to previous build to get rid of the klonk? Hopefully the devs knew about it.
