    Hi all

Had a busy few weeks upgrading Rig from a bogan desk set up to a TR80 profile set up, which has been an experience. ;)
prompted a few little ideas for custom tune, which has got it just where I want it.
probably the biggest changes in last year, but actually very small on face of it.
Still very much in keeping with original 5.0.1.3ish file from Karsten & co. which is always the first file you should try if new.
So structure can be compared across this and original for those that like to do their own thing and cross check.
I dont expect any changes from here unless there a significant change in what Rieza output underneath.
Link will live in my signature as always .

I tested the t70 belt version on my g29 and it worked wonderfully

hell it’s even helping me to be smoother on faster corners, as well as gaging me the feedback I wanted (kerbs vibration) I did had to tweak the suspension text a bit to feel better the direct impacts from kerbs and I re enabled flat spots cuz I like that immersion.

but overall great file, good job Daniel Kart!

I tried the latest rfuktor file, and I dont get any oscillitation in the garage now. If i switch to default\default+ or the v70 file, I get bad oscilliation when the engine is off.

If I got Daniel right, the raise your damper step by step until the oscillation disappears., but not more than necessary. On my DD1 the wheel whiiggles slightly, when I take my hands off the wheel while standing. Maybe you should give the V70 a second chance and adjust your base properly, mate ;-)

I can actually fling the wheel to one side or the other, and the wheel settles back to center with no drama (hands off). AMS2 ffb actually provides a wide margin for optimal damping to suit both hardware and user preference, if users take advantage of it.

I think what "Projupiter" is trying to say is the oscillations when the car is stationary and the engine is not running. I recently pointed out that the defaults have gotten really extreme since update 1.4...... They can be felt very weakly on my customs and I have to help the steering wheel to get these oscillations. Well, for me it is no problem to change something in the file. Yes, it would be very easy to change it in the file, but it would not be good for the cars' handling and it would have negative effects. But there is a very simple way to make this better (for the people who don't like it). Just increase the damping on the base (not in the game with Customs), at 30 you will hardly feel anything at 40 it will remain completely calm. Use your settings on the base like the two posts before me said

Can anyone suggest a custom file for a Thrustmaster T818?

I identified a missing line in @Danielkart files.
Just add this missing line, after line 952 (v70):

    (right_bump_pos (max right_bump_pos right_bump))

I have settled on the latest rfuktor file in this thread for the moment. Always seem to spend more time messing with settings than actually driving.

Let me know what you think, or if you find better settings.

    Kuku Custom rFuktor FFB

    Thrustmaster control panel
    Rotation: 1080
    Gain:100%
    Damper:20%
    Mode: Performance

    AMS2
    Gain: 40
    LFB: 10
    FX: 25
    Damper:0

what's the effect here? and why only "right" bump and no line with "left"?

I've changed the power steering angle from 0.30 to 0.50 on V70 and it's reduced the slight snatchiness I had when losing grip and smoothed things out nicely. Makes drifting very addictive which isn't good for my tyres or my laptimes. But it sure is fun.

Just the opposite, there's a left (line 952) and no right expression.
In other similar situation (details), there's a left and a right expresssion.

like this? I have it in line 945/946 . Do you maybe have the "old" V70 file? So that this is the cause of the different line number?

Hey buddy! It's nice that you're still with Ams2. Yes, fun is my top priority now. Nice time simracing in other simulations too:)

    Correct!
I have the file from page 314, but it doesn't matter, that's the place.
(is also missing in previous versions)
