Let's be glad we're just playing a sim game.. the hedges were definitely a thing and took many lives on the Nurburgring here in 1954 in front of the bridge of Wehrseifen R.i.p. Onofre Marimon

Also change wheel when the base is on and connected to the PC. Worked with my CSL DD. My problem is my vJoy controller stops working after each update

you know, driving around the sudschleife, one corner seems... familiar. I wonder if it survived onto the present day GP track. I'm talking about the modern day Ford-Kurve, https://www.racingcircuits.info/ass...gring/Nurburgring-GP+F1Chicane-NoArena-02.png, the slow downhill right-hander before the Dunlop curve. It.. feels, similar to the corner right before the old https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/85/Circuit_Nürburgring-1927-Südschleife.svg/1200px-Circuit_Nürburgring-1927-Südschleife.svg.png . Again, a slow downhill right hander - feels close to where the current Ford-Kurve would be.

    Anyone know?

    Edit- ooh, nope

Here you see them overlaid. Close, but the old circuit went well outside where the current GP track is.

Funny, yeah. Just closed ACC, now starting AMS2. Can drive both sims. Dunno what their problem is.

    I am a masochist I guess.
Either this or social media ruined me cuz I look at cases like this vid and comments, and keep wondering how AC1 fans that spend like 700 hours modding the hell out of the game to have a great experience yet can’t spend a couple of minutes reading patch notes to reset the setup of the cars on big physics uptakes on AMS 2, or tweaking the setup of cars with bad standards ones and or spending like 20 or 30 minutes with custom ffb files on ams 2. Well go figure

Once i installed the custom FFB called rFuktor 5.0.1.3. it changed the feeling of every car to such a level that the only better FFB is RaceRoom. With the custom FFB, AMS2 is the second best feeling racing game on the market for me, easily beating AC and ACC.

I am currently playing GTR 2, rF2, ACC and AMS2 I really don’t get how some ppl jump from one sim to another only to have like the most nonsensical takes about it

the only sim I kinda had “issues” with was Raceroom cause of the base ffb on my wheel, but I believe that might be my fault for not spending more time on forums asking for help or a better ffb config

I installed the exact same one thanks to a Thunderflash recommendation and indeed it’s a game changer. For me the only ffb I enjoy a bit more is rf2 one, ironically Raceroom was the sim I had most issues with ffb(excluding Forza 7 if you can even call that thing a sim), but I guess it might just be a configuration issue that I need to fix.

Or how about just temporarily ignoring problematic cars until Reiza sorts them out? It's not like there aren't already plenty of excellent car/track combinations ... I discover more and more of them after each update.

Err, every hear of Legacy Head Movement? Several other youtubers long ago posted solutions for "that slidey feeling". That criticism just doesn't hold up in 2023....

That being said, I totally agree that AC generates a very believable and enjoyable driving experience. Kunos & the Community rightly deserve all the kudos for that. Its reputation is well deserved. But not every car, whether from Kunos or from modders, is equally awesome. It, like AMS2, has its highs and lows; some cars have "it", others don't.
