I'm sure the Juniors will be awesome to throw around tracks like Oulton and Cadwell too.

I've got a vague memory of Michael Schumacher coming out of retirement and going round the old layout at Barcelona instead of taking the new chicane, a sort of 'Eh? that's not how it was in my day' sort of moment.

There is never a "no one" nor "the only one" of something. Just that those people who are P1 fans have probably not been here yet.

Will be there AI logic improvements? AI overtakes and little front trains in slow cars?

I'm keen to try it, but the Formula Junior took my eye...

The P2 version is fun, this one should be a lot of fun as well...

I really love what Reiza doing, dont be mad at me. I really wish for proper touring cars. Like we had copa petrobras de marcas. I know we have a lot cool vintage old Tin cans to drive, but i still feel empty lack of touring experience. The game have enough open wheelers. But dont get me Wrong. This time i look forward too junior openwheel classes. But still..

Whilst I am happy with what Reiza are cooking up I would like to hear more about features they are looking to implement, what they have planned for that in the near future? For example limited tyre sets were first mooted almost 18 months ago, will we get different types of qualifying, reverse grid races and so on.

I also used to love the RFactor VirtuaLM1977 and 1979 layouts , maybe these can be added? One can dream right, sky is the limit after Sud / Nordschleife!

i can totally live without a 10 year old Aston Martin messing up the GTE field. B-b-but it still drove in 2018 or something, i dont care.

there is nothing for me in this update, i buy Catalunya just to support the development, hoping that one day the racing gods deliver me something im excited about.

Always thank you and my pleasure.
reiza is making history with great team.
It's unbelievable that 2020 1971 and 2023 versions of nurburgring is included single DLC.
so... is there anyone who waiting for next funding with worries about reiza's budgets like me?;)

It´s always been SETA tire model + Driveline model integrated with chassis, suspension and aerodynamics modelling from pMotor (with bits and bobs of those modified by SMS), with all of it having since received fixes and adjustments since AMS2 development began. In theory STM should be completely independent from pMotor, the discovery was that (apparently by mistake in the original STM / pMotor integration) it wasn´t - tire spring / damper rates of the pMotor tire model (which is still there largely to feed the AI tire model) were still being drawn from together with the rates that were in STM - hence the carcass behaving "confused" and inconsistently.

For perspective, talking strictly tire physics for any given tire we have to edit it in 3 diffrent places: carcass and tread properties in the STM file, tread width in the same file of the AI tire model, and tire diameter in a third file, that also defines diameter and wheel positions... It´s all a bit messy, and even though we had this basic info from SMS themselves before we started, stuff like the pMotor tire springs messing up STM is something we have to assume they weren´t aware themselves - same for a flaw in the inertia calculation or a bug in driveline model that meant LSD diffs pretty much didnt work, and may other issues we eventually figured out and fixed. They´re minor bugs in the grand scheme of a very detailed physics model, but with grave consequences.

That´s what makes all the silly Youtubers saying even early on that it was just like PCars2 so annoyingly incorrect - it would have been fair enough for them to say there hadn´t yet been enough progress to make the physics good in their eyes, but to declare there hadn´t been any development even when they could have enquired about what we actually changed was deliberately and arrogantly ignorant on their part.

Why is the date on the title wrong btw? It was published in April 30 my time, covering development of a cycle that ended in April along with previewing bits of the next one :)

    But it's a 10 years old GTE with a V12, probably the closest thing I'll have to a DBR9 GT1 :(
