After all this time Im beginning to think this cheese thing is rather stupid.

My son watches funny videos on youtube and this kind of "humor" is sometimes in there as well. Can anyone tell me how this is supposed to be funny? Like what's the joke? Aren't they just abusing a person who is sleeping and then posting it online?

 

Some people find stuff like this hilarious, personally I don't particularly but each to their own I suppose.
Give me an episode or two of Blackadder or only fools and horses anyday .

 

I've got refund the "Project cars 3 ealry access edition" after play over 4 hours.
i wrote 2 pages of email about my long journey to find sim stuff in it.
and steam accepted my failure story at once.

I've got two choices here:

1) I could ready this two pages of drama and give a detailed response and read another e-mail that will surely follow OR

2) I could just press "refund"

 

Haha, having worked in customer support, that is totally accurate. Why bother taking it higher, your boss is only going to tell you to refund it.

You could spend your whole day doing nothing but reading/replying and the next day there will be twice as much.

The same is true of posties (volume first), I always take care in what I'm doing but I've worked with people who would treat an expensive tv like an airline baggage handler might a suitcase.

Pro tip: If you are ever stuck in a loop trying to get support, especially from a service provider and have spoken on the phone or chat a few times, cite the freedom of information act (in UK) and request the full transcript. I promise you, most would rather resolve your issue than gather that info.

From experience, the ones who'd need to compile your transcripts are usually not the same people who refuse to solve your issue, they'd just put a request in for that.

But back on topic:

Absolutely and once you request it, even if they solve your issue, technically they are still required by law to compile it as well, still, I have used that tactic to great success and once my issue was resolved, the data was never sent.

Worth a shot when you've gone 'round the houses.

SRX is a better Late Model asphalt oval sim than iRacing that's for sure.

They are free DLC, be sure to download it ! It comes with special tracks that are meant for those cars too.

Like Aza said, each to their own, I guess. But to me there's a fundamental difference between laughing at and laughing with someone.

These videos and GIFs may or may not be good-spirited jests between close friends or relatives, but as a rule of thumb, and this is coming from someone who is professionally interacting with people from all around the globe, if you want to lighten things up and make fun of or humiliate someone, make fun of or humiliate yourself for starters. Seems to work well everywhere.

 

I think you put more effort into your two-page response than SMS did in pushing PCARS3 out the door....
