Pretty sure Fuji hosted F1 races with DRS... Could be wrong...

Judging by the other titles out there it's possible to mod them in, but so little is known about track files in AMS2 atm... So it's hard to say...

It's probably a large task for the devs... Which also could create bugs in the process... It could also be as simple as adding lines of code for the detection points or invisible non walls in the model meshes to detect the car as they pass through them similar to how the timing loops for the sectors are set up... Having never worked with adding DRS, because I just don't like it how F1 uses it, I can't really say...

 

2008 was the last Fuji GP. DRS was introduced 2011.

 

Shouldn't be too difficult, it's only a couple of boards with 3 capital letters placed alongside the track

No. I only do a few things in my free time. AMS2, watch YouTube, make YT videos, go around with my moped or school work. Would do a lot of different things, but unfortunately I don’t have anyone to do things with

 

But that's the magic of single-player games, social interaction is overhyped haha, I joke (not really), but it's something to look too, in any steam sale a ton of good stuff gets cheap, just need to find something that interests you.

There are other sims around, mate. For example, iRacing is currently having Formula Ford 1600 at Okayama Short, it is loads of fun.

If you did not play AMS1, I highly recommend giving it a go. I still consider AMS1 a superior sim overall if compared to AMS2.

 

I disagree and I’m never going to pay the amount IRacing wants

 

I have quit iRacing after a year and half. Quitting was the best thing i could have done for multiple reasons. This video was released some months after i've quit iRacing and it summarizes everything better than i ever could.

 

Ok... but what about AMS1?

Like I said, it is still superior to the average AMS2 experience in my opinion. It is a shame its online base is almost non-existent, hence why I proposed iRacing - which still has the best and most complete online competition out there.

 

I have tried AMS1, but the graphics are a dealbreaker for me. I’m just currently waiting for the AMS2 may update because is will bring the two things I want to start learning setups, Barcelona and V1.5 physics for Formula ultimate gen 2

 

Not a fan of playing with keyboard too, everything I can I play with the joystick, except where its not a viable option.

 

Suggesting iRacing at this point is almost silly, I think everyone who doesnt have it looked at the price and noped the hell out of it or gave up on it because of the price.

 

Yeah I feel it's a little bit of a "check your privilege" moment whenever I see that happen...

Not everyone can afford those steep prices... In fact the majority of sim racers can't...

I fall into the "tried it and didn't think it was worth all the hype" group... Sure I can jump in at any point with a full grid of drivers... But that can easily happen in Forza Horizons and many other titles as well...

AMS1 is a great suggestion and there's plenty of great mods for it, but if eye candy is important than that's not for them either... And if eye candy is important, might as well suggest Forza lol...

Although if you want pure fun and laughs go for BeamNG...
