I strongly agree. The back wheels spinning is much more manageable, more life-like now. This change should drastically improve the Ultima cars and Caterham which are very difficult to drive using the default setup (I normally reduce the torque).

Very useful info... makes me wonder why such important data is not showing next to the car's name or adding a new view, allowing sorting by release year.

I have a question for the oval racing people... decided to try the F USA 23 at Indianapolis and Daytona ovals, is it supposed to spin so easily out of the boxes? Just as soon I'm hitting the gas I'm spining. It does feel great after I'm fast in the track though.

Newest RC content is free for everyone currently (so also Barcelona which is part of the Premium Track Pack) but F-USA 2023 will be part of Racin' USA pt.3 with full release of the update.

It has a 100% locked rear axle as Speedway variant and a lot of turbo kick, especially with cold tires this can send you flying pretty quickly because the suspension is additionally also set to turn left on its own, you have to be careful on throttle and it's intended.

How and why? How do you tune this car? i am not comfortable at all with these cars, for me they spin under heavy braking, and i dont feel comfortable at all pushing them to the limit.
On the other hand, i have no issues with cars like F3, F V12, F classic g3, F V10 gen 1, F USA gen 2. All these handle like a dream.
How do you drive these f inter cars?

Just to reassure you guys again:

Each single car in the game will be updated to newest physics when the revisions are done, without exception.

Add a little bit of maintenance throttle during braking to prevent the engine friction from unsettling the car.
(This is what the "Engine Braking" setting does automatically in modern cars such as GT3, by the way)

The Formula Trainers, Fusca, and even the Porsche RSR to an extent have to be driven this way as well. Cars with a lot of lift-off oversteer require you to be more gentle on entry, but aggressive on exit. If there's one thing the rally sims taught me, it's that weight transfer is key to taming unruly cars.

My previous issues with the Formula Inter have more to do with how the rear suspension responds to elevation changes, but that can also be part of the lift-off oversteer characteristics of this car.

Another question, I remember reading sometime ago that some guy that drove the 98T in real live and in AMS2 said the brakes were too strong in AMS2 (this was a thing wasnt it? I think I'm not crazy), I feel that in the RC they are even more strong, didnt drive any of the other Classics Gen1, but I kindda feel the brakes shouldnt be this good?

To expand on the answer you already got, most of the Formula Vintage/Retro/Classic/Ultimate/etc cars are fictional cars that never really existed and thus don't actually have a release year. Reiza doesn't have the rights to any classic F1 cars except for the ones explicitly in the game.

The fictional cars are pastiches representing the technology available in Formula 1 at the years on the list, but they're not supposed to be the actual cars because Reiza doesn't want to get sued.

Usually, if you download and install a skinpack for one of these classes, the name of each livery will have the name of the real team, the name of the real driver, and the real year, so you'll be able to tell that way.

Brakes weren't changed actually, i think they just feel better and less snaggy due to several reasons. We'll see if things will still move on the way towards 1.5.
