AMS2 ffb is not like other titles when it comes to Damping. Zero Damping could be the issue. AMS2's ffb requires some amount of damping for controlling grainy details and overall steering response. Try 50% Damping and increase / decrease from there until you find a good result. If your wheel feels like it's lagging, decrease Damping. If it feels over-reactive, increase Damping.

Boost seems to be the right (only) one.

These are topspeed values for Le Mans 1998 from the official Le Mans yearbook, Qualifying and Race taken before the right hand before Indianapolis:

    Porsche GT1 n25: 310 303
    Porsche GT1 n26: 310 298
    Nissan R390 n30: 324 312
    Nissan R390 n31: 326 312
    Nissan R390 n32: 317 311
    Nissan R390 n33: 321 307
    Mercedes CLK-LM n35:325 308
    Mercedes CLK-LM n36:322 307
    Mclaren GTR n40:315 306
    Mclaren GTR n41:313 308

and these are from the race a few week after that at Hockenheim in the low downforce variant as well from the official Porsche year book:

    Porsche GT1 #8: 307 km/h
    Porsche GT1 #7: 309 km/h
    McLaren F1 GTR: 316 km/h
    CLK LM #1: 320 km/h
    CLK LM#2: 319 km/h

Still no way to achieve these values in racetrim especially.

Agreed, but the fusa23 has a lot of vibration atm, even with 50 damping.

As a counter example though: Classic Gen 3 Model 3 (totally not a FW13B) at Jerez 88, I increased wings in a bid to go faster through the many twisties, but I did not improve laptimes. Turns out, I was getting hurt with topspeed, and on the flatout sections I was losing what I gained on the corners.

I really like where AMS2 is and the path that it's going through. But I still get the feeling that on aero it's not consistent enough yet. Some cars feel perfect, others not quite there. I do believe that we will get there in future updates :)

I will give it a go. However I have tried multiple settings I find fx settings make no difference to the spikes or harshness, damping seems to just slow the wheel down. Less gain helps but then the wheel then feels too weak. I always set the gain to have no clipping.

I haven't tried this but it should work:
    1. Get VoiceAttack. It is brilliant (I can't stress than enough ;))
    2. In game, assign a button to DRS or P2P
    3. In game, assign a key to the other one . Say key "A"
    4. In VoiceAttack assign key "A" to the same button

    Like I said, I haven't tested it but it's worth a try.

It is the boost button and I thought it wasn't working as well. You have to hold it and the boost bar very very slowly goes down in incremental amounts each time. It is not like the P2P for the stock cars. So after you hold it a few laps you will see a small sliver of it gone.

I also think that the FFB on default for the F USA 23 is a bit too "sharp" especially on high speed corners. I have really went back to one of the earliest custom FFB profile by NuScorpii and it is really good especially his smooth version.

Although one's final, fine-tuned FFB settings are a matter of personal taste, 50% Damping is quite a lot (Reiza's own guidance would suggest way too much) for a G25. Personally, I can't imagine two arrays of G25 FFB settings using the same profile--one that includes 0% damping, the other 50%--where both arrays produce plausible results across the majority of vehicles in the sim. At least one of those arrays would be wrong. As Reiza suggests 10% Damping for the G923, I might trial that value with a G25, but that would be about it.

Also, any FFB anomalies when driving either the F-USA 2023 or F-Junior in a Release Candidate are arguably more a function of their novelty within the sim rather than justification to make wholesale changes to FFB settings, especially if the remaining V1.5 cars (e.g., F-Retros, F-Classics; those that were present before the RC) are not exhibiting new, undesirable FFB issues.

Do you have any custom liveries in use?

Hold the button - open Telemetry HUD, you should see the power (bottom righthand corner in the HUD) go up when holding the button.

speaking of telemetry hud, would it be possible to make the elements movable? and in general resizable for all huds?

Formula Reiza has DRS and KERS. KERS is activated with the press and hold of boost button

I do but I don't remember having this problem previously with the same custom liveries. I'll delete the liveries in question in the weekend and I'll report back. Thanks for the suggestion!

I had the same exact issues in a race yesterday. Below are the details.

Track & Layout Used: Imola GP
Car Used: Formula Ultimate Gen 2
Applicable Settings: Custom Championship with Mandatory Pit Stop - min 4 tires - no fuel
Report: DQ on last lap of race for no pit stop even though all drivers had at least one stop. This includes player and AI. Player replaced all 4 tires on stop but unsure of AI.
Steps to reproduce: Haven’t attempted to reproduce the bug but will get a chance to in the next few days. There were a a couple AI that finished but I believe they had 2 plus pitstops in the race.
