Personally, I prefer it when you tell us all about the numerous TT world records you hold. :)

They are - there is a reason you only see PCars2 track mods, it´s because that´s all that can realistically be done without some serious work from us and modders alike. Even it was more feasible than it is, it would also serve to compromise the cohesiveness touched upon in that interview (in a way car mods don´t quite do), open up the game to a bunch of rips from other authors while exposing our tracks to being easily ripped as well - none of which we´d be very enthused to see. So rather than provide half answers and leave people hoping for something we don´t want to do even if we could, it seems more appropriate to just state clearly it is not likely to happen with our input and why.

Update on the update folks (dev and actual game one) - first one is just about done, just holding on a bit to avoid getting in the way of the RD interview. V1.5 itself is also receiving its last touches and should roll out not long after.

Thanks everyone again for the ongoing patience - we´ve been pushing really hard to ensure it´s been justified :)

Any news on enabling modded cars to have custom sounds in the near future?

While I totally understand it, it is a bit disappointing to hear this. I mean, the road racing content in AMS2 is huge and will keep growing. While some mods could be interesting, what we have is ok. But as an oval racer, I would love to see more tracks, and I don't think it is realistic to expect a big collection of ovals released by Reiza. Mods were a way to fill this. Anyway, at least we can expect a Texas rip at some point.

Edit: Do you know much time is a bit? ;)

I agree, same about cars and tracks, i don't care about more GT3s, the old, different, iconic and historic cars are much more appealing to me too, the same goes for the tracks, and when i stop to think about it, seems a bit obvious to me, since we are used to always playing with the same cars, and on the same tracks as always, so i find myself playing more with cars that are not usually on other simulators, also on not so famous tracks that are not usually worked on in other simulators, i believe that Reiza should not be deviate from this path..

There is a simple way to get a lot more high quality tracks into AMS 2. Dramatically increase sales of the game and DLCs and Reiza will be able to afford to expand the track team and crank out more tracks per year than they already do! :)

No thanks. By then people would have moved on to other high quality sims with sick looking graphics...such as Assetto Corsa 2 and the game from Straight4.

Citroën is coming to AMS2? So, looks like my prediction of a Sébastien Loeb DLC is half done. No need to thank me.

Yeah, then we can complain in those forums that the track list isn't as fleshed out as we want it to be. The ride never ends.

You already know the quality level of these sims? Could I borrow your time machine please?
Or, could you at least give me some hints on horse races I should bet on? :)

You aim too low. How about the next Powerball winning numbers?

How about partnering with 3rd parties to offer DLC packs like you did within Rfactor 2? I can tell you for a fact multiple studios would be willing to work with you, and some like Historic Sim Stuidos have their own licenses they could bring to the table? (Cars and Tracks)

Id love a Loeb DLC, but this DS3 chassis was owned and operated by PSRX Petter Solberg's team.
