I don't agree with what you say, because in the first place they are two independent teams, they have just made an agreement, and I think this is profitable for both parties.
pCARS 1-2 is a series born to bring sim racing everywhere even on console platforms such as xBox and PS, even at the time the version of pCARS 1 had to be brought to Nitendo Wii, then they didn't succeed due to the reduced computing capabilities of the console. Exploiting the core business of the usual sale on those console platforms, with about 18 months of update support waiting for a new chapter.
AMS2 instead is a product mainly born for Simracing in the PC with dedication to the smallest details.

Fun fact, if you read the white text on my original post you'll see me say to not get too excited. What it does mean is that Reiza and Pugeot (which is the billboard I've been talking about) have a line of communication, that doesn't mean "9x8 confirmed" it means "they've talked" and that's objectively a good thing. You can't have a brands name in a game without talking to them first, even if it's just a sign.

Yes, you can, if it is old enough. That's the point--there is zero relevance or connection. It's why the period signage is very accurate in the historic tracks and not at all in the modern ones. Reiza thankfully doesn't want to waste money licensing accurate modern billboards.

But for the first time ever we have the chance to produce a “Reiza Hours Converter”. Whenever the dev update will be released we can count the earth minutes between Renatos post (when he said it would be incoming in 24 Reiza hours) and the time of release. Then compare it to the 24 Reiza hours and calculate the exchange rate. We can use this information for a converter and in the future we will probably know exactly in advance when an update will be incoming. At least it’s worth a try! :D

    This may help, guys.
    "Keep calm and carry speed!"

How so you ask? If you follow this advice . . .
    • You are more likely to be driving (insert favorite sim here) and not wasting time waiting for v1.5 release to drop. Suddenly (seemingly), it will arrive! Win!!!
    • If you are developing AMS2 v1.5, you can stay focused and on-task, and not worry about what people are perceiving as "cruel & unusual punishment". Big Win!!!

I believe that there must be some obstacle to the use of images, advertisements or company logos, sometimes of some more than others, as we even have fictitious companies clearly referring to the real ones on some tracks, and depending on the track and the country they can change even more, for example, i see that the advertisements on American tracks are much more faithful and diversified..

Doing more research, seems like Reiza based Monza 1991 sports car race, not the 1991 Italiam Grand Prix. But even when looking at that there are still sponsors (both car related and not) that don't appear in AMS 2. Just nothing as notable as the Clio advert

There is, I think it's simply because the company has those logos copyrighted. So thus, if you use their logo and make profit from it (especially these days) you're at risk for getting in trouble. Selling something that uses companies or a person's likeness without permission will land you in hot water.

Even if that wasn't the case, adding logos without proper permission is a bad way to do business. You're not gonna build a good relationship with a company if you use their likeness without asking even if it's for the sake of accuracy.

There was a extra update on the beta last night to knock out a few lingering bugs, so it's not that they're doing nothing.

Also hopefully Renato is enjoying Road Atlanta (or wherever he actually is, I'm just spitballing.)
