I'm really curious to know if the DPi and the P3 class are gonna get the new physics...

All cars will be getting the new physics, not surprised if that’s causing the holdup

Does the 1.5 release change the bahaviour of the Caterham 620R? Its rear end kicking out on throttle seemed way over the top as if the diff was broken.

Yes. Every car will have 1.5 physics. In particular Caterhams and the DPI have been considered very well rounded by people talking about them. I tested both and to my taste, I can confirm they are very good.

The karts are a minor exception to the rule. They'll still get revised, but not for the initial 1.5 release.

Well, to be fair, the only caterham I thought was previously completely out of whack was the 620R. That seemed so borked it wasn't funny. The others were "fine" IMO so was less bothered by those.

Trust me, hated the Caterhams before, now they are a joy to drive. No longer you have to keep fighting the wheel to keep the thing straight and avoid spinning, it's progressive and in control. One of the most improved cars.

The ARC Camaro is another standout, pure joy! The DPI was already very good IMHO, so I did not see a huge difference though.

Overall, all cars have been improved, some more than others but you guys won't be disappointed, that's for sure!

Will this update add a handbrake binding option? Last time I checked I didn’t see that available in the bindings but I’m hoping for rallycross that will be an option

Look at the "extra brake" binding. (Btw, that binding is also used in the McLaren MP4-12, a courious specimen)
