I fully understand that and also prefer high quality tracks in AMS2 only. Then I don’t want to have to fiddle around with mods all the time to get them working. Haven’t tried the existing PC2 track mods but of course I would like to drive on those tracks in AMS2. So my question is: is there a chance that such PC2-tracks like Sonoma will come as official content to AMS2 some day or does the existence of PC2-mods even reduce the likelihood that this could ever happen because “why should we bring such a track officially when there’s already a mod existing”?

I tried the beta of The Crew yesterday with a friend. It's super arcade-y, of course, but we had a lot of fun. I had never played The Crew before, but the handling was surprisingly good with a wheel for such an arcade racer. I also played a bit of Remnant 2, which helped to ease the wait ^^

Can we please try and keep logic to an absolute minimum. There's no place for that sort of thing here.

Anyone involved in software development with plenty of moving parts knows well that deadlines are estimates. A bug can appear at the very last minute and initially it's impossible to tell how quickly it can be fixed as it needs to be investigated first. And this is even more probable when working on somebod else's code.

Now add various licensing negotiations, future release features (a lot of code right now is written with future updates in mind), previous version issues and also holiday season when there's a lot of folk out of office etc. It's seriously difficult to meet the ambitious deadlines, even when conservatively scheduled Reiza would try to fit more in that update and still face the same result  It's in the nature of software development. Different companies deal with it differently, Reiza tries to keep us as much up to date with their plans as possible and I find it great as we're all in the loop. The expense is that schedule is somewhat fluid, but that's no different if they pick a route of radio silence and we have no idea when stuff is due to happen.

I wouldn't worry as Reiza have already a proven record of decent work ethics. They are pushing all the time and we don't want them to crunch 20hr shifts to get it done "on time" whatever that means.

Good things deserve the wait :)

At least I hope we can be sparet of BS excuses like:
    1. just when we were about to upload the upd we found...
    2. trying to leave US I was stopped in the custom because...
    3. a close family member suddenly fell out of the window - so...
    4. Just add your own silly excuses you dont want to hear here...

ByTheWay: I have long time ago stopped believing in these silly excuses - so instead just launch the upd without further BS.

I started playing TT isle of man 2 which I bought in summer sale for 7,49 instead of the Barcelona track due to these unrealized teasers.
    It´s a blast!

Thinking about uninstalling AMS2 as I do not like this way of "communication" and two class society, where you have to pay for the beta testing which was open for everyone before this paddock club.

This is not as cool as Reiza is hyped here.

The beta was never open for everyone, it was open for no one except members who had paid for it in time.

I agree though that communication on this dev update has been annoying as ****. If you plan to hold on it for a week, why not say so.

do you people not have anything in your real lives to get on with? you are sitting here complaining about a video game update, surely you can wait for a day or 2 and do something else rather than complain about a missed deadline on a VIDEO GAME update like children

there's jokingly reminding renato about it and then there's crying like an entitled child over a non important issue

I think you are confusing "Release Candidate" with the Beta. The Beta has always only been available to Reiza Backers. It is the "Release Candidate" that was available publicly and as far as I know, the Beta will also become a public "Release Candidate" before becoming the actual release.

However, I thought we were waiting for a "dev update".. You know, a bit of textual blurb about the 1.5 physics etc, not an actual 1.5 software release. This blurb is not subject to last minute bugs. Its a writeup.
