Only the higher tiers got actual beta build access and dlc.

It is good that with more beta testers the full release should have less bugs, however it is disappointing that there was no chance of us peasant club members to try the DLC in a RC build. I run many sims and I have to be selective with the DLC that I buy. So having the chance to try new DLC was a big plus in AMS2's favour.
But no other sim offers this so I can't really complain.

 

Finally the Ams2 we all have been waiting for!
Tested almost all cars. All the previous issues with weird handling behaviour are definitely gone. No more floating and strange under to oversteer reactions. I don't feel dizziness anymore now, and I am glad! I'd say, all in all the handling feeling sits exactly in the middle between RRE and rF2, being the first more forgiving and the latter less forgiving than Ams2. Need to test rainy conditions. Thanks for the great job.

No issues here, maybe need to check G-HUB? I'm not on the "current release" of G-Hub as I found every update broke something for me lol

I have the SRO Public server up with the RX cars @ Ascurra RX with 10 min P, 10 Min Q, 12 lap race so I would say YES .. still only allows 6 cars though .. unless I'm missing something

I just checked AMS2 install size after the latest update: 100.49GB.
So, now we can make jokes about AMS2 reaching level 100.

Just ran a 20 lap multi-class race at Catalonia with the new Gen 2 P1s. Feels great. Does anyone know of any technical write-ups on the difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2?

 

I'm hoping it's an option not a permanent function...

 

Well, I gave Reiza a lot of criticism mainly about Brazilian Stock Car, and when the guys get it right I have to be honest and coherent, and Reiza's people did a great job now, congratulations to everyone at Reiza, as I said before, I criticized, I will still criticize, but above all I believe in you, congratulations!!!

 

Gen 2's have more downforce via larger wings and better floors, but also have DRS so their top speed isn't as effected as you think it would be. Just as fast at the Gen 1 cars, but makes the speed in a different way.

 

Interesting! That'd explain some of the trail breaking differences I felt. Is there just a higher reduction in drag compared to Gen 1 DRS?

I hope it is permanent!! Why would not you want to advance a multiplayer sessions? This bug was HUGE. Until this update almost 1 of the 2 public/open multiplayer lobbies crashed(got stuck, because they didn't advance until ~half of the players quitted) because of this massive issue. So I'm very happy that it's finally fixed and let's hope that it's permanent for every lobby out there otherwise it doesn't make much sense/it isn't fixed at all! Not sure what your problem is with it...

This is to me the biggest improvement of the whole update besides the physics/rally, since I always race in online public lobbies.

Actually, I installed back to the previous release and my Logitec g923 works fine. But as soon as go back to the 1.5 version is wrong again
