Anyone else reproduced something like that? What files did you remove? Are you really sure cars handled different?

Thanks, yes in race it worked.
In practice/qualy the guy was speechless, maybe because of my speed:eek:

I always thought that the Sigma P1 G5 had more grip in the Beta release. It somehow changed a little bit with the official release.

I have the g pro wheel which has g923 mode. I was able to get it working in 923 mode in 1.5, what is preventing you from calibrating?

Same track conditions? Same setup? Did you the setup reset in the beta?

You are the exception in this case, but not the case for everyone. I have never had that problem, hopefully it won't be to hard to recover from the loss.

Yes, I'm sure. Before the RSR felt slippery. Like I say, it may work for some or not. I removed the mods files. I can also tell you I contacted Thunderflash on Discord as well, because some mods have really weak ffb, and I'm not the only. I have been modding AMS 2 along time, as well as to get better sound from my 5.1 receiver in windows.

Tested this on the P1 Gen2 and good job as the AI is really competitive and consistent now at Skill 100 / Max aggression (used the Sigma and of course spamming DRS, on modern Spielberg and Curvelo). Before this update I had to crank up the AI to 105-110. Some people complain that (some) cars are now too easy to drive but it is absolutely possible to spin the Sigma if taking a curb too aggressively with its default setup and TC.

Seconded. In addition, by default the cars are set with a light fuel load, and most races (at least in the MP context) have a heavy rubber track preset, which altogether is closer to qually like conditions.
I think what’s missing from the “too much grip” conversation is the proper test conditions, as no one seems to mention the progression of grip loss over time, which is most certainly present.

There still is some inconsistency with the country flags for the drivers:

Had a race at donington tonight in the Porsche cup 3.8. The practice and Q sessions were wet and the car was a hot mess just slipping and sliding all over the place, could barely keep it it in a straight line and on track. Was miles behind the AI. The race was dry and the car felt very good bar a couple of weird braking events. Don't think I have driven a car in AMS2 with such extreme differences in behaviour even with different weather.

That's the point I was explaining to someone on the Facebook AMS 2 group about their lack of grip. That they had to check track conditions as well. Many people don't understand that a green track is not ideal, you have to let it rubber in. Many are not taking in consideration of LIVE TRACK, which is another important component.

Also in AMS2 not all tracks have the same amount of grip, I haven't even driven them all but I can tell you that Kyalami historic has more grip than Hockenheim historic (at least in the F-Vintages), a very cool touch that has to be taken into consideration when doing these no grip/too much grip comparisons.

TBF, most people leave the Livetrack on default like I did, not knowing what it does. One of many AMS2 features that aren't explained very well.

I have the G923 and after v1.5.0.2 AMS2 doesn't recognize any inputs at all from my wheel or pedals, but they work in iRacing and ACC. I've tried reconnecting my G923 to my computer, reinstalling the wheel software, verifying the integrity of the game files through steam, and reinstalling AMS2 altogether. The only fix is rolling back to the last release of the game.
