From a business point of view, completing the SP which was sold in 2020 before releasing any other paid DLC is the smart move.

The most frequent users of this forum are the die-hard fans of the game (I include myself in this group), however that makes it easy to forget that there are others who are not here who will perhaps not be as forgiving.

Reputation does count and some people I know are still 'waiting' to see the full content before purchasing the SP, rightly or wrongly.

 

I see some comments about future content and possible release dates, and honestly I think some people in this forum are way too optimistic.
If I were to take a guess about future content release dates my guess would be Adrenaline pt2 by the end of this year, Racin' USA pt4 in Q1 2024, and Le Mans in Q2 2024. Expect the worse and you'll be less likely to be disappointed.

i believe that some members here knows something that others don't

 

People should really stop throwing around the words "Free" for things you have to PAY a hefty premium price for. Otherwise i can also say "I got electricity for one month completely free, after i pay the regular monthly fee."

Instead just say "INCLUDED for people who bought the season pass", or "INCLUDED for those who bought the base game".

 

I don't understand why people get so bent out o shape about paying for dlc. Could be a hell of a lot worse, Reiza could start implementing a monthly fee or maybe micro transaction pay to win fees like some studios are getting away with these days

 

To elaborate on my last comment, i stopped playing gt7 when i realised that they were selling cars for over £100 a piece. You get 1m credits for a set of races that take over a hour to compleate and they want 20m credits to obtain certain cars. However if you cant be bothered they will sell you 2m credits for £20. I can see the kids now “mummy mummy please can i have this car? I need £120 worth of credits to get it”

 

I think there is nothing wrong with paid DLC when it is done properly and with respect to the customer. I bought the whole season pass because they made it so that you can play online without having to own any DLC, that is amazing ! I put many, many hours into the game and then i thought they deserve my money with this customer friendly way of doing things, and for me it was more about showing my support to the devs by buying it.

But the moment there would be microtransactions or God forbid a monthly fee, i would voice my disapproval right away and find a different game instead.

 

I think we should be more positive, what if update drops before we hit page 106 here
