    Your reasoning isnt completely bad;)
But at least this MP part needs some kind of better qualification.

Because a lot of surveys and polls does show that most sim racers prefer SP "races".
    Yes most!
Even the MP king iRacing got a massive influx of new members when they introduced the AI bots.
But ofcourse this succes was also dependent of the high quality of iRacings AI compared to ALL other racing sims.

People who prefer SP mode use mainly 3 arguments for their priorities:
    1. Stress and nervousness in live MP races
    2. Wrecking by others in MP
    3. Fredom of time and length of SP races

ByTheWay: TT racing eventhough its not live is also human competition. Just saying. ;)

I also would like to know. On version 1.5 dev update, it was stated that karts would have their own round of updates. I wonder if they were included in the scope of version 1.5.3.

This. It's sometimes tough to line up time with friends irl but I've been able to setup time trial challenges pretty easily. Each week someone chooses a car/track combo and that's how we run our "championship" lol. Not perfect but it's better than nothing and leads to good conversations.

Rfactor2 is over a decade old now and I still think it is an absolute mess, but let's run with your perspective; if it was acceptable for RF2 to take 10 years to get to where it is, why is it problematic that work still needs to be done on AMS2 3 years post release?

Also, I was a bit wrong because there is one 1981 F1 in the game, the Brabham.

I don't see why moaning about MP (being part of JR portal so I know the topic).

Reiza introduced more logging tools/data/etc in order to know what is happening while playing multi in order to fix/add/improve over it.

I mean...I know a lot of time passed but at least they knows there is a problem and they are trying to work on it...if takes time probably is due the amount of work it requires more than Reina being lazy... isn't it?

They proved to be hard workers so I don't see why you guys think they aren't focusing on it too...at the same time Renato started several times AMS2 is both SP and MP oriented even if with more emphasis with SP which is ok imo, it's their product so they know what they can do what not etc

As side note...due the imminent Motorsports Games fiasco, there is still hope Reiza will take over S397 and use rF2 tech for AMS3 :p

I am very happy for this content, I want to thank all the Reiza team and I am very happy to see how they keep bringing out F1 tracks from the 90's, I have seen that almost no one makes tracks from that decade in simracing. Thank you once again.

I think there are two reasons why some people don't like it. For example, many people often talk about Senna is the god of cars, but they may not necessarily enjoy driving Senna's cars on old tracks. Some people just say that, but what attracts them is actually modern sports events. And modern racing cars and tracks can indeed attract more newcomers.
The second reason is the content of the new track, and some people do not like historical tracks. They may not necessarily dislike it, but they just hope to prioritize adding modern tracks. Like Silverstone or other tracks, although there are many historical layouts, in the eyes of outsiders, it is just a "Silverstone".
I have asked many people that the way they decide which game to play is to see if there is a car they want to drive. Basically, it's a new racing car from recent years. Every time I say that AMS2 has F1 cars from every generation, and so on, few people respond to this. However, when the content of Le Mans and the endurance race comes out, it is expected to catch their attention.
I think in one sentence, they hope to prioritize increasing the breadth of the (modern) content, and then gradually increase its depth.

Just reposting this bit because a lot of people upset about the lack of MP updates seem to have missed a crucial point:
Can't fix a bug if you can't reproduce it or have no way to trace what causes it. The update actually gives the dev team the means to try and isolate these problems and resolve them.

Really looking forward to hearing more about these

1."some updates on the rendering engine (another area we´ve haven´t dug into beyond adjustments here and there)"

2"a content management system (for those who are interested in parts of the game but not in others, and who might want to combo that with mods for a more focused experience)"

As a PC club member, you know damn well they run multiple online races a week, (and sometime multiple a day) trying to track down these issues. You also know just how quickly the Bug Splat issues are usually fixed when we report them too.

I'm very hopeful these new logging tools are going to be very helpful in getting the online where it needs to be. Fingers crossed for sure!

Yeah, I really want more stuff with a proper H pattern, and I don't really care what it is.

Hi read three models and saw one Williams-inspired, one Mclaren MP4/8 and another Benetton inspired. Am I Wrong?

edit: my bad, I read it better

I always dreamt about a “official” formula 1 historic game.. That dream came finally true.. I know rFactor, F1 challenge, AC have almost all season reproduced, but the difference in quality among mods is something ruining the experience. The only game that still stands the test of time for me is GP4. I know it’s arcade. But it’s so much fun
