I agree with the sentiment that the cars are the meat of this upgrade - Lemans isn't my cup of tree as a track. I don't even like tracks having 2 decent sized straightaways. I hate the oval section of daytona.

Wish they'd put in Atlanta and Okayama. But I'm still glad for any content - AMS2 looks and plays great. Such a perfect game for picking up and playing a random car in VR.

And for what it's worth, my laptimes in GT3 cars on Laguna Seca are within half a second of my iRacing times. AMS2 is criminally underrated by sim racers and I don't understand how/why the FFB feels so much better than everyone else's.

Put in super formula or f2 cars and atlanta/okayama and I doubt I'd bother getting on iracing/ac much anymore at all.

 

I can guarantee he doesnt...releasing content before a deadline/embargo is up is *EXTREMELY* frowned upon by developers, the relationship is built on trust.

You break that, then you deserve all the flack you get frankly.

 

In your opinion, will we get the Acura DPI or forget it? I would love to have another car in the DPI class even generic DPI.

 

Bummer, but I'm all for an RC over the weekend, even if it's not the most stable experience I'll gladly hotlap for a couple of days so I'll be fully prepared for when the DLC drops officially

Also big yes for a Super Formula, been asking it for years on rF2, might as well ask it here as well. I'm not paying 13$ a month to try it

 

I totally echo those praise. AMS2 is absolutely insanely good. I have played all the Sim out there. Man I slept on AMS2. I picked it up on the 21st and have put in 50 hours already. Which is pretty disgusting considering I have responsibilities and a family.

This game is also the reason I went and got myself a VR headset. AMS2 has ruined so many other racing games for me.

Having the ability my friends be able to join my multiplayer match with AI legit with the click of a button. Is a feature Which even AAA titles seem to have scrapped now adays. I hear people say the UI is ugly and stuff. But at least it works and has all the options I want!

Sorry to fan boy abit just in love with this game.

 

Is the new build available in notformedia? I have recently rebuilt my PC and I no longer have a notformedia branch available in my list of betas. Is there a code I have to punch in to unlock the notformedia release?

It's a lesson for the next time. We all understand the effort you and your team are putting into this, but of course, before give a "deadline" you have to make sure that all the job is 99% ready to go. The hype was very high to get this update + DLC before the new year, and of course all of us was waiting to put our hands on the new cars. Also most of us wanted to enjoy the new stuffs before get back at work. IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL as is also festive time for you and your team, but of course, next time don't give any hope to people if you are not sure to have the material up and running.

I just bought those along with the season pass. Me and some of my mates only just recently discovered how good AMS2 is. Usually we always played ACC

 

No they haven't, they have been working non-stop with multiple beta updates per day.
