What a fun update. New cars and tracks look great and the couple of each I've been able to push around the track are VERY fun and engaging to drive. Loving the little details, loving the LCDs, loving the sounds. Doing some multiclass GT3g2 and LMDH practice sessions has been good fun. Can't wait to set up some 2 hour endurance races later today. Think I finally found a great excuse to let rF2 multiclass singleplayer collect a little dust.

Reiza exceeds expectations again...loving the state of AMS2 at the close of 2023. Excited for what's to come.

Probably the combo tested most during beta and utilized the most here since release. Not a generic issue, so please check where/why else you are getting crashes.

The Le Mans and Buggatti circuits are very good.
GT3s as well and a preference for the Porsche 992 GT3-R.
The LMDhs are even better for my taste, notably the Porsche 963 GTP.
Excellent work from the entire Reiza team.
On the other hand, very disappointed by the AI which, as before, hits me and sends me into the background at the start of each race and almost every time it overtakes me...

Interesting. What are your skill and aggression settings for the AI? Have been driving a handful of circuits with skill between 90-100 and aggression high and max. Haven't gotten punted except a couple times I tried a stupid late inside lunge, which was entirely on me. They've been doing a pretty good job of staying off my bumper and keeping my side paint looking good.

I am a VR player and this game is magnificent and my favorite, unfortunately the multiplayer is really not great .

please make this a priority and dethrone everyone else .

Ahhh now I'm stuck cooking for new years eve and later with visits, adulthood sucks , but tomorrow I'll have a hard time deciding what to try first. Great work and go take some rest.

I tried it with different tracks and car class and I discovered that game keeps crashing after 3min and 30seconds from starting game.
I cannot find any crashlog sadly.

I started with AI at 90 and aggression at medium, then went up to 100 and back down to 75 and aggression at low.
The higher the difficulty, the more problematic it is...
With this game, I am forced to only do laps of the circuit alone or against the clock......... And that's a shame...

With Raceroom Experience it's the only sim that I don't have a problem with the AI...

I have only one word for this new DLC................... AMAZING!!!!!!!! I have so much fun with it already. With every new DLC we get. Keep up the fantastic work in 2024. Happy new year to everybody.

 

Always intriguing when folks have radically different experiences. Wish I could point to one particular thing that differentiates our experience, but I guess it will remain a mystery. I'm having a good and mostly clean time with the AI. rF2 with official cars on official tracks is the only other SP experience I've had with similarly impressive and competitive racing AI...though I've heard iRacing's AI is relatively impressive these days.

Edit to add: I have not tried low or medium aggression settings. As unintuitive as it sounds, maybe try high and max and see if there's any improvement?

 

No history for me either. I did delete the setups folder (as I usually do with updates) before starting the game. Will try putting it back again.
