What I'm hopeful for is Ian Bell has connections still with Acura/Honda and Toyota and can help Reiza get access like he did with PC2.

Nils put it perfect in words. This is a must watch for anyone confused about AMS2 "physics" sometimes.

I feel like AMS2 is making progress to make this better, so I hope we keep improving!

Could be interesting to compare the real grip/slip curves of the different sims.
And check out how much or small difference there actually is graphically:whistle:

If the devs did publish it - ofcourse.:D
Or if it was possible to make some kind of backwards or reverse engineering of the curves from telemetry output of the sims.

Rethinking a bit then such a curve will be very car dependent.
So eventhough there must be some interesting difference between lets say the yaw curves in iRacing and AMS2 then a fair comparasment will be using the same car/model in boths sims.

ByTheWay: The reason I mean it could be interesting is that I personally dont think the yaw curves in AMS2 does stand so much out from the other sims that people who does criticise the physics in AMS2 does believe. Hehe but maybe iRacing actually does stand more out from the competition :D

Iracing is extreme on the other end, way too peaky. Even real race drivers confirmed this several times.

I think AMS2 is more forgiving in that sense than other sims, but then again who is right. But it does explain why some people complain about it since it is so different.

I am just curious. Somehow I assumed that game devs had done 5 different cars based on real ones what competed in 1992

Nope...they are often composites of various models from the era and designed to provide a nice variety of technologies/flavours rather than a strict mimicry of specific cars. Some are very easy to see the inspiration...others a bit harder ;)

Kartkraft is really good game regarding the simulation, but the game feels unfinished.
But if you like just hot lapping there are some really great tracks: AMP, Genk, PFI, Whilton Mill, Go Kart Club Victoria and Geelong Kart Club, the other three: Brentomonte, North Texas and the fantasy track Hangar are not so cool in my opioning.
And I like the time trial where you race against the ghost of th next better in the world ranking if you want to... but the menu and also saving of setups can be a bit complicated and not logical...
But it is still great fun to drive TBH.
