This is great news and now have been swiching to VR completely I am so exited about graphics and performance in VR compared to other sims ....but I am so jealous on good multiplayer options existing on other sims. After fixing the physics this would be a big win for selling as well, if the MP would be fixed - I see so many racing streamers that are telling "I would do much more AMS2 to if the MP would be fixed, because it's such a great game".

@Renato Simioni can you make a statement about the Multiplayer development please? Its really annoying for the players who only want to use AMS2 in Multiplayer. Your AI behavior it's not good enough to have great races in Singelplayer, you know this then the AI is so predictable and we as player's know in a couple of laps who the AI is slow or fast on the track and this is so boring. Its 2024 when you don't go for Multiplayer than this is a great time wasting moment..... please let us compete against Human on a Ranked System with this great content in AMS2

Really man? We have to sign in a other system? Why? LMU is a recent game in early access and show us how Multiplayer can work

RCO is a step into the right direction, but it's also fighting with AMS2 MP limitations.
If AMS2 would have a good MP code it would be already part of LFM as well.

When AMS2 had a great MP code the don't need LFM or things like this.

LMU is a new game, for sure, but is more like a new skin over rF2 (certainly to honor WEC licence). They didn't create a competition system from scratch.

So what? AMS2 is 4 years old so 4 times 365 days they have enough time to do a great MP code....

Absolutely fantastic news with the IMSA deal, never would have expected something like this, congrats! Also great to see a little bit of what's to come in 1.6

Now, if the F-Ultimate is getting an overhaul, then please do one for F-Classic Gen3, some of the generic models are in dire need of one.

Unpopular opinion here: Multiplayer recieves too much focus nowadays. Don't get me wrong here, I get people want to race against each other. The focus on multiplayer often forms a problem for the other aspects of the game. Look to ACC for example. The focus on multiplayer has hurt the singleplayer experience; Ai is not that great, there's no way to do an endurance race because the Ai doesn't take over, championship mode is lacking in all aspects. IRacing is the only example out of that rule, but given the price you need to pay for it, anything less is unacceptable. I am glad AMS2 focuses more on the singleplayer aspect, because we have enough sims with good multiplayers already while sims with a good singleplayer experience are awfully rare (other than some very old sims like GTR 2 and GT Legends)

Sebring is great news but also really fantastic, is the changes to the livetrack system, It sounds like AMS2 is gunna be the first sim to try and keep up with what iRacing have just done with Tempest (which I have to say is absoloutely astonishing!), as that really is a game changer, if Reiza can pull it off, wow its gunna be good!

Hopefully on the dev updates incoming before 1.6 some essential endurance features are announced to be on the cards.

    • Mid race saves/checkpoint
    • Bigger grids
    • Multiple drivers per car/teams
    • Constructor/team points
    • Varied AI strategies and the ability for the AI to use different tire compounds, not just the softs
    • Properly working yellows ( a man can dream)
    • A ballast BOP system for the IMSA content
    • Improvements to the AI vs AI overtaking ability.
I have a lot that I won't clutter the thread yet, but it's a pretty big undertaking that IMSA license if it is to create a proper full rules and regulations championship. But I am sure Reiza are capable, the only downside is the inevitable delay some of the other content will get, but if it's for the health of the sim it's better overall.

Renato also said that the Tempest system is the new standard and motivates the team over at AMS2 to improve their own system to at least match, if not surpass the Tempest system.:hurrayreiza:

As a first attempt it is indeed pretty well done even with some things they should improve over time (they also invested years of work in it which maybe not all developers can do). Sure some features could be "copied" into AMS2 with great benefits.
