Tbh I think that if the generic car would have made any future licensing deal unlikely they wouldn't have done it at all.

 

Conserning the workload for such and such a sized team then does anyone know if there is more than deletion of the 2 Mulsanne chicanes on the comming historic LM version without chicanes?
Is some of the other parts of such a layout also different?
I mean if these 2 chicanes is all then such a version could be comming allready in the next update.

 

It's a historic layout, which is almost 35 years old. There have been plenty of updates to the tarmac, turns and buildings since then.

 

Adrian Newey is so far ahead of any other designer in F1, he even took the failed Mercedes concept and made it work for Red Bull, now that's gotta hurt.

It depends on which era they are bringing, layout was considerably different on beginning of the 70s than today’s layout, but an early 90s layout would be indeed easier for the talented Reiza team. Ideally we could have early 70s , late 70s and mid 80s

What do you mean by that ? I have been vocal about this multiple times if the IR-18 has been preserved in case the license would be renewed and the car added to the game officially.

It would be nonsense to throw all this work into the bin and even if the generic model for the time being is appreciated i would want the official model now that Motorsport Games do not have the license. I mean the license must have been approved at one point already, right ? It can surely happen again.

No, not at all. It was Indycar, not MSG. They said they thought the car looked too similar, but we also got Indianapolis in return.

My comment is directly related to the IR-18. At this point its too similar to their interpretation, but when the new hybrid IndyCar is finally racing I am sure Reiza will try to license it.

You could say the same about the F-Ultimate Gen 2 that once they had it done, why would they change it ? I'd still say anything can happen and if there is a chance to have an official model only a fool would be against it.

Yeah woulda been cool if racing USA pt4 is its own thing and IMSA content come as a separate dlc that woulda mean more content
