Ok...but I'm not sure what you mean by settings..like I said was working previously and is with all other sims and I haven't changed anything in crewchief. Was working the day before jumped in fired up the sim it did the update automatically and no Jim.??? Even uninstalled and reinstalled crewchief works fine with all other sims but not AMS2???

Yes, I know about the issue. Was a fix implemented with this update, because I dont see it in the release notes? So if its not implemented what other improvement are you guys expecting? There are no comments in the release notes at all about it. Or am I missing something?

 

There was no performance improvements associated with any of these areas with this update, there are no "new" in game settings.

Do the AI use boost?
If they do;
Do they use it randomly or in specific areas on the track?
Do they use it on all tracks or just the tracks they race on in real life?

I will add them today. Overrides will still work in the meantime with a stock_cruze_24 or stock_corola_24.xml as normal though.

Hi Matt, I meant the Crewchief settings in the application itself. I had to re-enable Jim for Timetrial for example after the AMS upgrade. Why ? I dunno. It was the only issue I had after upgrading.
In the same settings in the app, you can switch to shared memory mode also BTW, that might do the trick.

 

I always had issues with Crewchief when joining a Timetrial session in AMS 2. Most of the times when I start the session Jim says "That's the end of the session, P1" and stays quiet after.

 

When there is any update on this I'm pretty sure it will be mentioned specifically in the patch notes. If you don't see it there, nothing will have changed.

 

UNLESS the rewrite the whole engine, ain't gonna happen. We must cherish what we got!
One day when the RTX 10000 series comes out, we'll be happy in VR.
I tried everything, including SLI 2 x 3090ti, running it on XEON Gold cpu's etc. all became a slideshow once the lights showed up at night
I have to live with the jagged shadows on ultra in VR ... turning them on reveals the age of the game engine...I think we'll have to live with that, for now.
Let's hope Reiza pulls the same VR magic trick with AMS3 as they did with AMS2?
But from what I know today, only unreal 5 engine based games will stand a chance in the future.
They can allready be easily converted into VR with a GREAT experience!
