Could be, hadn't thought of that. Also noticed the date was set in August, which at 3:00 could have some signs of dusk at Nords. Changed the date to January and 01:00 and AMS2 is much darker indeed.

Maybe try heavily overcast weather and the moon should disappear behind the clouds and it should be even darker, right?

Although AMS2's graphics are nice, catchy, they are not always the best representation of reality.
The current development of new shaders can (will?) improve that.
Didn't try it (night racing) recently , but I remember a dissonance between sky ambient light and track objects (obviously, where no other light source is available).
Also, the size of sun and the moon is not correct. Catchy, perhaps, for some, but not the real deal.

The portrayal of the Celestial bodies in the Madness engine were originally designed to visually depict the majesty of Ian Bell. Beware: Any attempts to diminish their brilliance may inadvertently trigger the WMD “Kill Switch” Protocol.

Hand tracking, so we can move the in game hands alongside our real ones and press buttons on the virtual dashboard. Among other things it would allow you to flip the finger at opponents and wave to the crowd when you take the checkered flag.

Hello, since the last update, I have, rarely but still, 100% CPU usage for a few seconds and a massive drop in FPS (lags). Am I the only one with this or do others have the same problem?

Randomly, or under certain repeatable conditions?

I solved a lot of problems with track details at ULTRA. Madness Engine, I think, is a little strange loading things when racing, and track details option will be better if simply don't load less important objects trackside that never interact with vehicles.

I'm sorry for suspecting the divine update from AMS2. After a longer search, I found the process "DSAService (32 bit)" which required 100% CPU at times. I uninstalled the Intel program. It didn't cause any problems until the AMS2 update, so I wrongly suspected AMS2.

Are you saying that turning the details down solved the problem ?
