Wow! Am I glad I got this sim!. I'm blown away by the quality and ease of use of this sim. Love the old F1 cars, and really everything about this sim. I've started using Formula USA a couple days ago. I'm still getting up to speed with these cars so the AI set to 110% is still faster than me. However the recorded lap times for AI is 9-13 seconds slower than me even though they are faster on the track??? AMS2 is obviously not showing their times accurately. Other classes of AI such as classic F1, BMW M1, Brazilian stock cars, GT3 etc all seem to show accurate timing. Anyone else have this problem?
I don't think this is what he is reporting. If I understand well it is not about performance, but it appears time table is bugged. OP, I'm not a staff but I suggest to report every config you used (flag rules, number of laps, etc etc)
I solved my problem. Lets call it user error. I had fuel and tire wear on 4x. I was racing on Road America, a long circuit. As a result AI was not able to complete a full lap without having to pit for fuel. The lap time was not representative of their speed because they were using the pit limiter by the time they crossed the start finish line!. I changed back to 1x for tire and fuel and now am getting appropriate lap times recorded. Love this sim!
