Hello again. I added the details code and it help quite a bit, but the steering is still very stiff when I choose 0.5 instead of 1.0. I tried the F-U G2 and Cadillac LMDh in the beta around Kansai and Adelaide and what I noticed was stiff steering and a lot of clipping when going over kerbs through S1 at Kansai. I also got this graph which I think seems wrong since it seems to not have everything even

Edit: the F-USA 2023 around Adelaide feels quite nice

 

Yes some cars are very light on the FFB while others really make you work. Perhaps the "weight section" needs to be recalculated?

F-jr is very light on the FFB while F-high tech feels a little stiff but pretty good

 

I would think so. Maybe the multiplier needs to be lower for heavier cars since I tried the V8 Supercar and it was very hard

 

I'm very curious what you will be able to do with this file. Can't wait to find out. Let me know if you need a tester.

I really liked what you did with turning the damper slider into suspension scale

 

This is a good reference by @Peter Stefani which shows that I mainly get the heavy forces which makes the lower forces be felt less.

 

I won’t be modifying or tuning this atmos file , i have no need , as perfectly happy with what i have .
Just interested in if adding more segments to tyre resistance can be beneficial.

 

I'll say something about it soon because I adapted my next file exactly with these tire resistances. No, not with Stakanov's idea, still with Karsten's 5.01 but with my individual changes it will be my own interpretation. More information to follow

 

Nobody MUST tune it, I just need some feedback that is kindly arriving and if it doesn't come from those who don't want it then amen... in any case the file just goes balanced by me not by other ... at most the solution is simple, i bring the values back to the original one and we're done, I'm fine with it and I have my starting point ... changing the scales has enhanced some aspects and covered others ... but maybe you're right I should have keep it to myself now ...

This evening I have some commitments or rather personal problems to resolve, so please put the test file aside for a moment and pick it up again tomorrow evening... If you don't want to waste time I'll do it myself ... thanks anyway

 

Stakanov you misunderstand me, I won't say anything about your file or your ideas because it is your creation. And I know how your boys can react and I have absolutely no desire for it to end like it did 2 years ago. I don't need this insults and aggression anymore, so I will absolutely refrain from saying anything about your files. I will only say something about my file because it is also about the tire resistances, nothing more and nothing less

I think you plagiarize things... I wasn't talking to you but to Kuku who was rightly responding to others, and I wasn't criticizing him either, I just think it's enough to say I won't do tune it... but then what aggression are you talking about on my part? But are we out of our minds?

 

I didn't mean to start anything here. I just thought the tradition was that someone releases a file and others use it as it is or tune it and share with others what they have done with it.

I wasn't around in the glory days when this thread started, and i have been enjoying files from all the creators and also the sub creators that modify the files of others to suite there own tastes like i do.

 

In the early days we were only dealing with one source and format from Karsten, and that’s what i stay aligned too.

Sub creations with heavy modifications fall out of my preference of function and trying to work on something that’s so different in settings and execution while trying to maintain high levels of competitiveness with a busy community racing schedule is difficult as it requires a lot of re-adjusting and time .

But it’s always interesting to follow developments and see if there’s something new that can be applied to the original design.

Using the ATMOS file and I'm quite impressed with the FFB I get on my Logitech G Pro. One tweak I'd like to make is when getting bumped by other cars, is there anything I can chnage in the FFB file to enhance the bumps? I like to know when I'm being pushed around by the opponents. Thanks

 

Typo: should be "... fr_details_pos ..."

 

@Racinglegend1234 and @Dmand for try lowering master rack to 0.75 this should reduce the sense of weight of the rack (if that's what you're looking for because I wouldn't want it to lose fullness) and thus free up some resources, then correct the code forgotten by Stakanov by typo indicated by @ViperMan3 ... just to summarize did you leave the speeds at 1.000, 0.750 or 0.500?? and prefer rack at 1.00 or 0.75?

@everyone, we are just trying to calibrate a file with different proportions from the original file and which will be the future basis of other files, and it must be done now here or elsewhere, it should not be done later, I hope there is a pleasant environment because frankly I don't understandwhere certain frustrations arise, thanks to those who continue to give feedback.and thanks also to those who don't do it and remain equally friendly because there is no point in being something else
